Connecting your Android device to eduroam These instructions are for connecting your Android device to the eduroam wifi for the first time. This can be done by connecting to the StrathWifiSetup network available in the Library and Student Residences. Once you configure your device to connect to eduroam, you will connect automatically afterwards. By configuring your device, you will not only be able to ensure your Android device connects to eduroam here at Strathclyde, but this will ensure your device will be configured to connect to eduroam on any campus you travel to.
1. Select Settings 2. Select Wireless & networks.

3. Select Wi-Fi. 4. Select StrathWifiSetup.

5. Once it has connected, select it again. 6. A browser will open at wifisetup.strath.ac.uk. Select
Install the eduroam CAT tool from the Play store.

7. The Play Store will open at the eduroam CAT
page. Select Install.
8. Once the installation is complete, return to the browser.

9. Select Install the eduroam installer from
eduroam.org.
10. Select Android.

11. In the drop-down box, click on Continue. 12. Once the download is complete, click on Open.

13. In the pop-up box that appears, select Allow. 14. On the eduroam CAT app, select Install.
