Welcome to summer Ardella family!! With summer comes vacations, ball games, and family outings.
It is a great season to refresh and spend some extra time with those you love. Sadly, we often feel like
the church takes a vacation in the summer as well. This summer, we want you to enjoy your time away,
but when you are home, we have a summer filled with worship, discipleship, and fellowship opportuni-
ties. On the back of your Connections, you will see a Summer at Ardella calendar. Place it on your
refrigerator so that your family will always be aware of what is going on. You will hear more about each
of these opportunities in the weeks to come. I love you and am so humbled to be your pastor.

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!! Over the next few weeks and months, we will begin addressing issues such as disciple-ship strategy, needed ministry teams, parking lot issues, facility needs, volunteer needs, budgets, missions….and it would be easy for us to get overwhelmed with all of the things that we need to get done as God blesses our church with growth. But, it is important for us as a church to relax, take a deep breath, and do the following things:
1. Be in a spirit of prayer. Ask God specifically how He would have you be involved in the upcoming year.
2. Pray for patience. Not just for you, but for members and visitors, and leaders, (& even your pastor.)
3. Raise awareness of things you see that you feel need to be addressed. Please don’t assume everyone knows about it. Your voice is important.
4. Enjoy the journey. Church was meant to be fun. We have a lot of work to do. Let’s get to it.
