Share Your Comfort Wants And NeedsTo provide you with the energy savings and indoor air quality results you want, your contractor needs to know as
much about your home, family and lifestyle as possible. Don’t hesitate to let your contractor know if you have pets, if
someone in the home has allergies, if you prefer choices that are “hands on” or “set it and forget it,” or if the air in
your home often feels too dry or too humid — because Honeywell makes a variety of choices to meet the needs of
all homes and all budgets. Each of these things can help your comfort specialist determine the best package for
your home and family.
Tell The Story With TrueHOME
Homeowners understand discomfort — they’re just not sure what to do
about it. Educating them about the comfort and air quality solutions that
can address their needs isn’t always easy. Until now.
Along with the new TrueHOME comfort solutions brand comes an
entirely new set of contractor tools designed to support the in-home
sales process. From new homeowner assessment tools, literature and
leave-behind quote folders to a customizable product labeling program
- Honeywell TrueHOME makes it easy for you to market and sell comfort
and IAQ products and packages to homeowners.
TM
Q. What is Honeywell’s vision for its IAQ business?
A. Our vision for the IAQ business is to provide a complete IAQ portfolio -
integrated with Honeywell controls - that provides the most value to contractors
and homeowners.
Q. When you look to develop a new IAQ product, where do you begin?
A. We do extensive customer research to review all products available at that
time. We ask contractors about their experience with Honeywell and competitive
products to determine what works well for them and what they would like to
see improved. But we take it a step further – we watch contractors in action.
Specifically, how do they talk to homeowners, what do they experience when they
install a product, what’s required to maintain the product once it’s been installed,
and more. That way, we not only hear what the contractors think, we see their
actual experiences.
Q. You mentioned designing products that are easy for contractors to install and that can improve their business. Can you give us an example?
A. TrueEASE is an example of looking at existing products and identifying ways
to simplify the contractor experience. Evaporative humidifiers have remained
largely unchanged in terms of performance and basic operation. For example,
most humidifiers come fully assembled in the box. That means the installer has to
disassemble the humidifier to install it on the ductwork. That doesn’t make sense,
but that is the way it has historically been done. Now there’s a better way. With
TrueEASE, the mounting screws are on the outside of the unit – no more taking
the unit apart to hang it on the ductwork! Replacing the humidifier pad is another
area where we focused on simplifying the process. Contractors told us they
had to walk away from installations because they couldn’t access the pad for
maintenance. With TrueEASE, the pad is accessible from the front of the humidifier
or from either side. As long as there is space to get the humidifier installed, you
have access to do the maintenance!
Q. For homeowners, you talked about simplicity and better interaction. What do you mean by that?
A. Homeowners want to know that the products they purchased are working
as intended. They also want to know when they need to perform maintenance
or when to call for service. Our vision is to supply better information to the
homeowner so they know when their products are running and when to call for
service or maintenance. We provide simple user controls that offer the information
homeowners need, eliminating nuisance callbacks to the contractor. Another thing
we hear from homeowners is that they don’t want to hear the product when it is
operating – which is a common complaint with fan powered humidifiers that have
been on the market. With TrueEASE fan powered humidifiers, we’ve reduced the
noise to a level below that of typical variable speed systems.

While other HVAC and indoor air quality products have evolved over the years, evaporative humidifiers have barely changed. Until now.
It’s About
Time Finally there’s an evaporative humidifier line that evaporates installation time and application limits.
Introducing...
TrueEASE TM Whole-HouseHumidification Systems TrueEASE humidifiers do it all by only running water and air through the
system when humidity is needed; using up to 50% less water;* and saving
energy by eliminating the constant cycling of air.
The complete line of TrueEASE humidifiers helps you differentiate your
business by providing upgrade options that homeowners value, and more
importantly, are willing to pay for.

“The versatile design of TrueEASE allows the humidifier to fit in more homes, while the advanced models provide the energy and water-savings that homeowners value as a return on their investment, allowing contractors to differentiate their business and earn more profit per opportunity.”

Quick-Connect PlumbingAll plumbing is connected in a single step by attaching the hose to the quick-connect gasket.
Familiar FootprintInstalls in the same space as existing bypass humidifiers for easy retrofit upgrades. A foam seal ensures a tight fit.
User-Friendly Pad AccessPad replacement is accessible from the front and either side of TrueEASE Bypass models, and the easy, slide-out design means there’s no disassembly of the humidifier or interaction with the plumbing needed to change the pad.
Interchangeable BypassEliminates the need to disassemble and rebuild a humidifier if the bypass direction needs to change. Simply remove the bypass, flip it, and snap it back into place.
One-Piece DesignMounting screws are located around the perimeter of the humidifier, making it easy to install in a single step rather than mounting a separate frame assembly.
Integrated WiringPush terminals make TrueEASE easy to wire, and the integrated control board eliminates cost and time spent on separate relays typically required to deliver additional humidity by forcing the fan. Simply flip a DIP switch to set advanced humidification options.

TrueCLEAN delivers the best of both media and electronic technology – with high efficiency, low pressure drop and long filter life – creating the opportunity for profit-building replacement sales.
Step 1: Charge
Particles enter the TrueCLEAN system through an array of ionizing points, where
they become electrically charged. The unique design charges all particles evenly.
Step 2: Capture
Next, particles travel into the media filter where they’re captured in the media fibers.
A continuous charge ensures dirt is loaded 360 degrees around the filter fibers — not
just on the face of the filter. This process captures more particles than a standard
media filter and helps the filter last longer.
Step 3: Destroy
Once particles are captured, the charging strips on opposite sides of the carbon-
tipped media filter continue to charge and deactivate particles. Particles are
trapped and destroyed inside the filter, with deactivation rates of captured particles
exceeding 99%.**

How Does it Work? The two-piece design includes both a control (thermostat) and an Equipment Interface
Module (EIM). Only two wires are required to power and position
the thermostat in the living space and everything else is wired
through the EIM installed at the equipment location.
TimesaverTwo-wire installation not only saves you time and labor hours, but it also means that
you’ll reduce your risk when bidding the job. When a job calls for multi-stage equipment
or a heat pump, you won’t have to pull any additional wires. Two wires are all you need.
Installs in Minutes The high-definition display makes it easy to see and the interview-based setup screens make
it easy for you to install and easy for homeowners to program – helping them save up to 33%
on energy costs.*
Connect with Customers to Generate Service BusinessPrestige can remind your customers when it’s time to replace their furnace filter, humidifier
pad or UV lamp – or to schedule their spring or fall system check – on schedules you
set. Choose from pre-set service reminder options or create your own – for up to 10 total
reminders – directing homeowners to a screen with your full-color company logo, phone
number and Website.
“Prestige IAQ makes it effortless to install upgraded systems and control both temperature and IAQ accessories from a single device – with only two wires. And because Prestige is RedLINKTM
