Good reading and have fun!
In order to ensure an easy rotation of the camber, the pressure exerted by camber on the mast must be minimal.
For this, the distance between the camber and the mast is fixed by a plastic part called "spacer".
Figure 1

Depending on the section of the mast, the number of spacers can vary from 0 to 3 maximum.
Attention! Too many spacers increase the efforts of rotation and can damage the sail. For the first sailings, use as
few spacers as possible.
Attention! The BTR screw located on the leech is used for the replacement of the batten. Too much tension conducts
to batten brake in a short term. A setting to use carefully.
Figure 2
BTR screw too screwed: risk of breakage of the batten.
Solution: Unscrew the screw so that it is flush with the batten tensioner.
Figure 3
BTR screw not enough screwed: risk of loss of the BTR screw.
Solution: Tighten the screw and possibly cut the batten in order not to end up in the case of figure (2)
Do not overtight the batten, less tension you have, the less you block your sail when pumping.

Œillet du haut pour le petit temps
Top eyelet for lightwind
Œillet du bas dans la brise
Bottom eyelet for stronger wind
habituel.
Like all regatta sails, clew adjustment when sailing is essential. It allows:
-To change the profile of the sail depending on point of sailing. Tighten positive or zero at the clew
point for upwind sailing. Release outhaul for the downwind conditions.
-Flatten the sail if the wind is getting stronger and keep the entire surface by decreasing the power. In
the breeze, we recommend extending the boom of 1 or 2 notches compared with your usual setting.

SANGLE DE REPRISE D’EFFORT / STRAP FOR DOWNHAUL POINT
Before the first sailing and once the sail rigged, pull the downhaul strap.

COMMENT GRÉER VOTRE VOILE / HOW TO RIGG YOUR SAIL
2. Put the mast and the downhaul tackle (the zips are
closed)
Put the boom and the boom tackle

Pull the boom tackle, release the downhaul tackle and set
up the cambers
The strap allows to have a large profile under the boom. The effect increases the power of the sail.

ETARQUAGE A L’AMURE / TIGHTEN AT THE TACK POINT
The downhaul outhaul range is reduced. Because of its design the sail leech opens little or not. During your first
sailings, follow the lengths of mast extension recommended especially if you use a downhaul tackle.
Modèle / Model Longueur mât / Mast length
Race Pro 9,5 2015/2016 5.25 m
Race Pro 9,5 2014 5.35 m
Race Pro 8,5 5.00 m

TRUCS ET ASTUCES / T IPS AND TRICKS
Place a small ball at the top of the downhaul to avoid
tearing the sheath

Cela
évitera d’abîmer la voile
Bring the tip down to hang the pulley. This will prevent
damage to the sail
Place a small piece under the strap to easily release once
in tension
ENTRETIEN / MAINTENANCE
The monofilm is fragile. It is not very resistant to UV aggression.
Do not let your sail in the sun after a navigation: drops of water make magnifying glass and create micro-burns
on the sail.
