Energy Modeling & Simulation

Energy Modeling uses computer software to predictably stimulate building energy

consumption by analyzing system interactions. Energy Simulation using the sate-of-the-art recognized softwares simulates the energy requirements of the building using real time data and weather conditions.

The Simulation Study helps you to take informed decision on design and construction engineering. It also helps us to identify the most cost effective alternatives to save energy and to qualify for green certifications. This process also gives us the measure of the energy that will be consumed in that building as per various national and international standards. This serves as a benchmark caliber of energy consumption of a particular building.

Lighting Simulation

Commissioning Services

Lighting Simulation is used to optimize natural day lighting inside a building. Solar analysis

is extremely helpful at the early stages of design development, where day-lighting & solar gains are important factors in defining the foot-print and basic envelope.

Sunpath analysis and design of exterior shades at the initial stage of the projects design helps in creating high energy perfoming buildings. External lighting simulation helps us to control light trespass from building and also reduces light pollution or sky glow during night time.

Commissioning Services serves as a counter check on all systems to ensure performance

as per design and clients’ project requirements. Conserve offers both fundamental and enhanced Commissioning Services as per the requirement defined in the LEED reference manual.

The commissioning process affects all systems and assemblies such as Water Commissioning, Energy Commissioning, Indoor Air Quality, etc.

Renewable Energy or Clean Energy sources not only release lesser pollution into the

environment, but it is the lifeline of green buildings. Our renewable services solutions encompasses solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, wind, thermal and bio mass. Solar energy can be harvested to provide electricity, air-conditioning, hot water and heat energy for projects.

Waste heat recovery from power plants/engines/ turbines, furnaces etc is utilized to generate steam, hot water, chilled water and electricity. This waste energy can be further put to use for process cooling or air-conditioning, dehumidification system, desalination plants, inlet air-cooling of engines / turbines and refrigeration systems. Zero Energy projects use combinations of waste heat recovery and renewable energy sources

CFD is the study of air flow with the help of simulation software. CFD helps us to

understand how air moves in a naturally or mechanically ventilated area. Conserve uses this technique to design building for better natural ventilation. The air flow pattern in an airconditioned or ventilated space can also be studied to understand temperature profile & eliminate any hot pockets or dead zone by proper air distribution.

Carbondioxide (CO2) credits or Green House Gas (GHG) emission offsets are financial

instruments representing the environmental attributes derived from reducing GHG emissions from projects. CO2 credits are traded in form of certificates that are expressed as metric tons of CO2 emissions. The commercial transcation process of controlling emission units is called Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Conserve helps clients to :

The primary objective of this study is to reduce energy consumption of projects without

affecting their benchmarked operation, quality and comfort. The study covers various aspects such as survey of premises/operations; data collection and analysis; field tests, measurements and operational trials; estimating economic viability of projects and documentation in form of reports and presentations. The Conserve team has Accredited Energy Auditors and managers from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) to carryout energy audits.
