Consignor Tip Sheet April 2017 Next stop “e Voice”! When he’s not working at the Woman’s Exchange Jim- my Neil likes to go to the gym and work out or play sports with his step-children, but his real love is singing. Jimmy has been singing most of his life, in church choirs, through voice lessons and he once was a singer in a heavy metal band. Jimmy is also a a big fan of classical and musical theatre but really enjoys any type of music. “Music is the most expressive and universal language,” he says. Growing up in Champagne, Illinois, Jimmy was also an athlete, playing football, baseball and basketball through high school. Jimmy met his wife, Jessica, while living in Illinois where they both delivered newspapers 7 days a week. They married in 2013 and he is now the step-father to three wonderful children - twin girls, Summerlee and Layla, and 8-year-old Cayden. Summerlee is the athletic one while Layla loves to read and learn new things. Ready for a fresh start, they all moved from Illinois to Florida in 2013 after the two married. They picked this area because Jessica’s grandmother lives here and were ready to get away from the cold winters up north. He’s only been at the Exchange for about three months but loves his work. It helps him stay in shape and he really enjoys talking to the volunteers and customers every day. “I am very thankful for this job, it’s perfect for me!” Jimmy Neil furniture assistant Women’s clothing, accessories and linens: Consignment will be Wednesdays, April 5 and 19 for clothing and accessories such as purses, shoes, belts. The Woman’s Exchange has awarded more than $8 million in art scholarships and grants

to local arts organizations. Thank you for participating in

our mission.

Notes from the office• We have started a new procedure regarding the consignment of art work that is 3 ft. x 3 ft. or larger. Consignors are asked to send photos along with exact measurements to us in the business office. We then show/ forward these to the “art ladies” and if they feel the art is acceptable, we make an appointment for the consignor to bring us the art on a Thursday. Email: [email protected]

• Please remember to mark each item for consignment using beige masking tape and a ball point pen (no marker).

The Consignor Tip Sheet is the Woman’s Exchange’s newsletter that helps consignors keep up with everything that is going on at the Exchange.
