1. Start "Train Simulator Editors & Tools" from the start menu of Windows and then select the "Activity Editor". 

2. Open an existing activity (activity) by pressing the "Open" button in the "File" menu in the menu or click on "New" to create a new activity. If you only want to make a train composition can click "New". Select a route and enter into the emerging display a random name. Next you will about the window are being shown in Figure 1.

3. In the "Player" box in the right pane, click on "Player service on" New. "The Service Editor will appear. 

Note: If you are a new activity to making then you'll naturally in steps 3 and 4 come along. 

4. In the Service Editor Select at "consist" for "New" to open the Consist Editor and set. A new train together By clicking on "Edit" button to edit the existing train composition.You will now get to see around the window. Figure 2

5. Now enter in the box under "Name" is the name under which the train composition must be saved. 

6. In the box "Display name" enter the name of the train composition as it will be displayed in the simulator. Activity and Editor 

7. In the menu "Rolling stock types" you can choose which material group (electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, steam locomotives, passenger and freight cars + tenders) to select a train.

8. The available equipment in the equipment group selected in step 7 will include "Rolling stock" will be displayed. By selecting a name from the list you will see. "Preview" a picture of the train As you can see in the various trains, there are icons in the list. They have the following meanings: 

 The player to control trains. 

 One air line for the brake. 

 Two air lines for brakes. 

 Electric brake. 

 Automatic clutch. 

 Permanent link (within trains, etc.). 

 Standard coupling. 

9. If you click the name of a train, click the "Rolling stock" list, you can drag with the mouse button pressed down to the bottom blue box and let it loose. In this way you place the locomotive / wagon in the train. Here you should be sure that all the cars in the train have the same kind of clutch and brake. Under material with an air break for a blue line (thin one air line and thick two air lines). In an electric brake two blue lines. And a red line appears under under equipment with vacuümrem. By right-clicking on a locomotive or wagon can turn it around. Moving equipment within the train, you can do this by clicking on it and then subsequently dragging and anywhere else in the train to leave. Loose again You can remove material from the train by clicking on it and then to the disconnect icon (Figure 3) drag-and-release.

10. After you have compiled a train, you can specify using the slider on the right middle of the Consist Editor at "Consist durability" how hard it can be handled by train. The closer the slider to "Fragile" is the more conservative should be handled (eg during braking.) Rail journey. 

11. Now that you have compiled the train you can click "Save & Exit" button to leave the Consist Editor. If you are an activity to make: you can go on now on. If you were only a train formation to making you can now close all windows Microsoft Train Simulatorwithout saving anything. Then start the simulator and the new train will be found in the simulator include the name of the front locomotive of the train composition.
