Case Construction Equipment and Tidewater Equipmentsupported Team Rubicon in a public service project andequipment training exercise at Camp Martha Johnson, a GirlScouts camp in Lizella, Ga. The training provided TeamRubicon heavy equipment operators/volunteers with valu-able stick time and resulted in the complete demolition andremoval of four obsolete structures on the site, as well as thecleanup and removal of past storm debris.
Equipment provided included a Case CX130D excavatorand TR270 compact track loader.
“As a nonprofit organization, these property improve-ments would not have been possible without the work ofTeam Rubicon and the generous equipment donations fromTidewater and Case,” said Ronald Holliday, property direc-tor of Camp Martha Johnson. “This work has improvedaccess and safety at the camp and will improve the experi-ence of thousands of campers here for years to come.”
Team Rubicon credits Tidewater Equipment for excellentlocal service and support that helped complete the work.
“Neil Skipper with Tidewater was pivotal in the comple-tion of the work and was available to us over the weekendfor support,” said Chuck Kretlow, city coordinator —Macon, Ga., Team Rubicon. “This type of communityimprovement isn’t possible without the support of business-es like Case and Tidewater.”
“Tidewater is a new Case dealer that immediately recog-nized the value in our relationship with Team Rubicon andthe good work we all do in working with nonprofits andlocal communities,” says said Marchand, vice president —North America, Case Construction Equipment. “This was agreat training event with a great benefit to the community.”
