Features: WIROX provides excellent anti-corrosion protection

Revision of the relevant national and European standards for the building trade means that future requirements in respect of anti-corrosion protection of fittings and fasteners are likely to be tightened.

Using WIROX gives you 10 times greater anti-corrosion protection compared with yellow zinc plating of identical coat thickness.

WIROX offers benefits for application in Usage Class 2 as per DIN 1052, especially in the case of open structures such as carports or pergolas.

WIROX in comparison with stainless steel

Despite the high corrosion resistance of WIROX, it can’t substitute stainless steel.

WIROX – environment-friendly

WIROX is free of Chrome (VI) making it significantly more environment-friendly – both in manufacture and use – than conventional anti-corrosive coatings.

WIROX abrasion resistant

WIROX possesses a distinctly higher level of surface hardness than, for example, conventional yellow zinc plating or zinc lamina coatings. Giving greater resistance to damage of the surface coating, leading to a reduction in corrosion.

What must be observed during processing:

The drill BIT can deviate in case of very narrow components and long drilled holes. If no experience is available in the factory, please check in advance.

The following machines are recommended for screwing-in:

PROTOOL DRP 32-4, BOSCH GBM 32-4, FEIN angle screwing machine Mammut SCW 16-6, MAKITA angle screwing machine DA 4301.

Shortening to desired length possible.
