    4. Description of project, including the deliverables

    Concrete tangible results which you will present to the

    client when the project is completed.For most projects, a final report and the typicalpresentation are the outcomes, but sometimes thereare more.

    What specifically, you will place in your clients

    possession when the project is completed?What services go with the deliverable, if any?

    Do you plan to offer any after sale service? This isimportant if you are doing a pilot implementation, if

    possible or feasible, offer an option for fullimplementation.

    5. The Project Plan

    This section articulates the plan and schedule for getting

    from the initiation to the completion of the project.Plan shows a concrete set of tasks, time for completionof each milestones, and schedule for the finaldeliverables.

    Important role of this plan is to instill confidence in theclient, as well as to show how the work will be done.

    Write for the readers convenience No straight paragraphs, use a combination of

    headlines, outlines and depth.

    Keep details out of the body of the proposal; they

    belong in the appendix. Put in only that which isneeded to met the objective of the report:understanding, agreement, and acceptance.
