ABOUT TAKUMI
CRAFT: Takumi is the Japanese word for ‘craftsman’ or ‘artisan’. This word is central to the company’s quality policy. Even in this hitech environment of CNC machines the ancient craftsman’s principles of pride in one’s work and striving for excellence are thecore values of Takumi.
RESPONSIBILITY: Each employee understands the importance of taking total responsibility for the quality of their work. There is a keen awareness of how dependent Takumi is on its customers and everyone is conscious of the needs and requirements of each individual customer.

TAKUMI OUR BACKGROUND IN PRECISION ENGINEERING
Takumi Precision was established in 1998. It occupies a 22,000 sq. Ft. Custom built facility in Raheen, Limerick. The company has always had a strong culture of Engineering Innovation and prides itself as a leader in the Precision Engineering Industry. Ongoing development and education of staff and continuous improvement of the business have been the key to Takumi`s ongoing growth. Takumi has detailed expertise in the manufacture of low to medium volume precision components. Takumi’s Engineers and Technicians are widely experienced in developing strategies for complex component manufacture and are extremely proficient in the use of latest versions of CAD/CAM. The business has invested heavily in the latest CNC equipment which is well maintained and ergonomically located within the plant. Takumi’s strong engineering competence has particular relevance to the Aerospace and Medical sectors. These demanding sectors which demand equivalent levels of regulatory compliance form the bulk of Takumi’s customer base and workload.
