What is Camp We Sign 2014? Camp We Sign 2014 is a Christian Overnight Character- Building Camp Adventure for Deaf Kids, Hard-of-Hearing Kids, and CODAs (Children of Deaf Adults), ages of 6 to 15.

What is Camp We Sign TOO? Camp We Sign TOO is a Christian Character-Building Day-Camp (8am – 5pm) Adventure for Hearing Kids ages 6 to 15 who want to experience the adventures of Camp We Sign 2014

Who is Sponsoring Camp We Sign 2014? Camp We Sign 2014 is co-sponsored by The Florida Baptist Convention and God’s Hands Agency, Inc.

Who is Sponsoring Camp We Sign Too? Camp We Sign Too is being co-sponsored by God’s Hands Agency and Friends of The Mission.

What are the Dates for Camp We Sign 2014? Camp We Sign 2014 will be in session Sunday, July 20 (Check In/Registration will begin at 3:00 pm) thru Friday, July 25, 2014 (All Kids Must Be Picked Up by 12 NOON).

What are the Dates for Camp We Sign Too? Camp We Sign Too will be in session Monday, July 21 (Check In/Registration will begin at 8:00 am) thu Friday, July 25th, 2014 (All Kids Must Be Picked Up by 12 NOON).

What is the location for both Camps? Both camps will be held at Bill Frederick Park [Turkey Lake Park], 3401 S. Hiawassee Road, Orlando, Florida 32835. The park is a beautiful scenic park with many trails, ideal for nature lovers, and they have 5 air-conditioned cabins.

Tell me about the Staff and Volunteers of Camp We Sign 2014 and Camp We Sign TOO... Our volunteers have backgrounds that vary from the working professional, to the stay-at-home mom. Some of Deaf, others are Hearing and some are Hard-of-Hearing. We are blessed to have Retired firefighters, Certified Interpreters, and an awesome TEAM of CIT/Counselors-In-Training working with us this year, just to name a few.But more importantly, we need you to understand that our first priority is to keep your child safe. So each of our volunteers are REQUIRED to have the following: 1) A Level 1 or Level 2 Background Screening, 2) An Affidavit of Good Morale Character, 3) Great Communication Skills, 4) Some form of CPR/First Aid Training, 5) and a love for kids.

Is there a Registration Fee? Yes. Each camper is required to pay a $50 Non-Refundable registration fee that includes one T-shirt for the camper. Additional T-shirts available for purchase.

What is the COST of Camp We Sign 2014? Deaf kids camp for FREE! Otherwise, overnight Camp Fees are $360 per camper which includes 6 overnight stays, all meals, all activities, and more. Partial Need-Based Scholarships are Available.

What is the COST of Camp We Sign TOO? Day-Camp Fees are $220 per camper which includes 5 days of adventure, Breakfast, Lunch and snacks, and all activities. Partial Need-Based Scholarships are Available.

Are Scholarships Available? Yes! For Camp We Sign 2014, both Partial Scholarships are available. And for Camp We Sign Too, we have Partial Scholarships available as well. Contact us today and ask for the form “Parent’s Request For Scholarship.”

Camp Capacity Camp We Sign 2014 (Overnight) has a capacity of 25 Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing Kids, and 15 CODAs.

Camp We Sign Too (Day Camp) has a capacity of 25 kids.

Deadlines Registration Deadlines for both camps will close on June 30th, 2014, or as soon as our capacity has been reached.
