MOVIE NIGHT AUGUST 5TH, 7:00 P.M. IN THE BANQUET HALL FEATURING: THE WAYThis movie tells the story of Thomas Averyn, an American ophthalmologist, who goes to France following the death of his adult son, Daniel who was killed in the Pyrenees during a storm while walking the Camino de Santiago, the Way of St.
James, a Catholic pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. Tom’s purpose is initially to retrieve his son’s body. However, in a combination of grief and homage to his son, Tom decides to walk the ancient spiritual trail where his son died, taking Daniel’s ashes with him. It is a moving story about our journey through life and how those we meet along the way impact us. Run time is 2 hours and it is Recommended for Teens and older.

SPIRITUALCATHOLIC UPDATE for July features; MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA: SAINTLY MODEL OF PERSISTENCE IN FAITHFULNESS, PRAYER, AND LOVE, By Anne Wilson. Few names evoke the universal recognition and respect given to Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Author Anne Wilson brings Mother Teresa down from her pedestal so that
we can find inspiration in both her triumphs and struggles. Mother Teresa’s life is a source of inspiration for all who travel the path of Christian discipleship. Grab a copy from the book rack in the Narthex on the way home to find out more. If you would like copies of past Catholic updates, please contact Deacon Chuck Wright at the Parish Office.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with those serving our country at this time: Travis Meeks (Air Force), Nathan McKitrick (Marines), Tabitha McKitrick (Navy), David Nartker (Navy), Bryan Bernhold (Air Force) and Brad Staddon (Army),
David Robinson (Air Force) and with their loved ones at home. We pray for a safe homecoming and that the world may one day be at peace. Please let the office (937-667-3419) know if you would like your loved one(s) listed by name here. We would be happy to pray for them by name.
HELP CENTERST. VINCENT HOTEL: Parishioners are reminded the hotel is in constant need of casseroles to serve the homeless guests. Completed casseroles can be placed in the Parish freezer and will be periodically delivered to the hotel by Parish volunteers. For further information, contact Mike Begley at 667-2882 or
