To all my sons and daughters in Christ, For in him all the fullness was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile all things for him, making peace by the blood of his cross through him, whether those on earth or those in heaven. Colossians 1:19-20. What amazing experiences have taken place over the past number of weeks! The Diocese of Madison received a new Bishop, three new priests were ordained for our Diocese, Fr. Bill Van Wagner celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving, and we celebrated the 243rd Anniversary of the Independence of our nation. Thanks to all who did work, big or small, to make our parish a welcoming place for visitors and especially for the priests who filled in while I was away and for all the people who came to Fr. Bill’s Mass of Thanksgiving. It is a great joy for a Pastor to know that he can be away from his parish for a time and that things will go smoothly. Thanks to all! We enter now into the beautiful rhythm of the summer months. Jesus has redeemed all times and seasons and we can find the opportunity to sanctify everything we do, every place we go and every person we meet. All the fullness dwells in Jesus and we dwell in Him through Eucharistic Communion, prayer, and walking in a state of grace. Gloria optimo Deo! Fr. Eric Sternberg

In today’s Gospel, when Jesus asks, “which of these three, in your opinion, was neighbor to the robbers’ victim?” The scholar of the law answered, “the one who treated him with mercy.” Jesus then said, “Go and do likewise.” This week you can also “treat the poor with mercy” by mailing your donation to the Society at P.O. Box 4, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin 53965. Or, consider joining the Saint Cecilia Conference so you too can help those in need. Conference meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Parish Center. You are welcome to attend. “Lord, give us the grace to love you with all our heart, with all our being, with all our strength, and with all our mind, and our neighbor as our self.”

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS JUNE FAMILY OF THE MONTH The Knights of Columbus are proud to announce the June Family of the Month: Dan, Tara, Hailey, and Dylan Anchor. The Knights of Columbus Family of the Month program promotes and supports the development of strong and vibrant families by recognizing the good work being done every day in the homes of our neighbors. Recognized families outwardly exhibit strong ties of love and faith, exemplifying Catholic family values and
making meaningful contributions to their parish and larger community. The Anchor family certainly demonstrates exemplary family values.
