This book is published on the occasion of the exhibition Color Mania - The Material of Color in Photography and Film at Fotomuseum Winterthur, September 1- November 24, 2019.

The exhibition was realized in cooperation with the research projects ERC Advanced Grant Film Colors: Bridging the Gap between Technology and Aesthetics and SNSF Film Colors: Technologies , Cultures, Institutions by Prof. Dr. Barbara Flueckiger, University of Zurich, and funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation as an Agora project.
