Creating art out of everyday life AmongKorea’smostwellknownandbest-sellingartists,artphotographerBohnchangKoooriginallyplannedonabusinesscareer.Afterdevelopinganinterestinphotography,hebecameaphotographyprofessoratGyeongilUniversity.In2008,BohnchangKooservedasartdirectorattheDaeguPhotoBiennale.Hisworkshavetraveledtheworld,winningfansandcollectors.HissoloexhibitionshavetouredtheUS,Japan,FranceandAustriaand

hisworkhasalsoappearedattheSanFranciscoMuseumofModernArt,theNationalMuseumofModernArtinKoreaandothermuseumsandgalleries.BohnchangKoo’ssophisticatedphotosofeverydayobjects,suchasteapotsandceramicurns,emphasizemonochromaticpastelpalettes,palelight,flatplanesandsculpturallines.Theeffectinfusesmysteryintoordinaryobjects.BohnchangKoo’srefinedimagesrewardviewerswholook,andlookagain.

Experiencing architecture from the inside-out BasedinLosAngeles,LuisaLambritravelstheworldphotographingmodernistresidentialinteriors.Beforeshooting,sheoftenspendsextendedtimeinahousetocaptureitsuniquedetailsandshiftsinlightandmood.Emotionallyrich,oftensaturatedbyonecolor,herphotosbecomeabstractimages,suchasherseriesexploringAlvarAaltoarchitectureinFinland.LuisaLambri’sfirstsoloexhibitionwas
