Ambidextrous lower receiver

The attractive, billet 7075-T6 lower receiver is outfitted with an ambidextrous magazine release, bolt catch and release, and selector switch. The magazine well features reinforcing ribs that make the magazine well 40% stronger than mil-spec forged at only ½ an ounce of weight change. The trigger guard is ready for winter gloves without manipulation. Radii and chamfers throughout make this billet lower a marvel that stretches the capabilities of modern production CNC manufacturing. A 20 degree competition style mag well is concealed in the design, allowing lightning fast magazine changes. A right side bolt catch and release lever is standard for every UIC lower, a feature not found on many comparable industry offerings. An integral adjuster allows the end user to compensate for tolerance between your upper receivers and your favorite lower. The selector pictogram is compatible with 50-90 degree selectors.

Modular Ambidextrous Selector switches

The ADM configurable selector switches come standard on ADM carbines in a long tall left paddle and an abbreviated short right paddle with a 60 degree hub. The kits are available with short selector switches as well.

Muzzle device

A Griffin Armament Flash Comp provides suppressor compatibility, as well as unparalleled muzzle stability and recoil control with night vision compatible flash reduction similar to A2’s on 14.5" and longer barrels. The Griffin flash comp received the NTOA’s coveted perfect “Gold” evaluation from multiple tactical officers, and is LAPD approved for patrol rifles.

Bolt Carrier Group

Materials: 9310 (bolt), 8620, (carrier), 4340 (key, cam pin, extractor) ADM’s bolt carrier was critically accessed at the component level. Every component was processed in accordance with the latest TDP including assembly, staking, all heat treats and shot peening to specification. Every component is given a finish pass for optimal surface finish, and grinding is actually done post heat treat. Half a dozen Melonite QPQ processing facilities were evaluated before selecting the finest corrosion resistant lubricous finish available. The BCG is so glassy smooth it requires no break in period. Consulting with a group of armed professionals with over 30 combined years of field use of M16 family rifles, the T&E testers unanimously agreed that the ADM BCG was the finest they had seen.

ADM HD Buffer

The standard carbine buffer is inferior by design with far from optimal reciprocal and non reciprocal mass and an abbreviated platter of weights that operate as one sliding mass without room or plurality necessary to force them to be staggered. The ADM reliability enhancing buffer provides non-reciprocal weight matching the rifle length buffer, coupled with a platter of weights that impact in a staggered sequence to eliminate bolt bounce and provide smooth performance without resorting to springs or hydraulic systems which can wear and fail.

Trigger group

The ADM mid and top grade UIC carbines come with the outstanding ADM adjustable two stage match trigger. The ADM two stage trigger is adjustable for pre-travel, and over travel. Made from S-7 Tool steel, the ADM two stage match trigger is heat-treated, EDM cut, polished, and coated with Diamond-like Carbon- a coating with a 80-90RC hardness and a very low coefficient of friction of .1-.2. Combat durable, competition worthy, the ADM adjustable two stage trigger group puts ADM rifles in a class all their own.

The Universal Improved Carbine was designed to be a fully featured rifle that was ready to go out of the box with little to no modification for optimum use. Our idea for the Mod 1 UIC was to include as many premium usability, performance, and reliability features as possible at a price point that out competes any other market offerings in its class. We want to give the customer a high level of value while still maintaining the look, feel, and functionality of the Mod 2 and 3 UIC’s.

Do not assume the UIC Mod 1 is just another “budget” level AR pattern rifle. The Mod 1 is a workhorse that will serve you reliably day in and day out for years of hard use. ADM isn’t just assembling a rifle; ADM is designing and manufacturing rifles for their customers that are intentionally superior to existing systems.

Building on the solid foundation of the Mod 1, the Mod 2 and 3 UIC’s include every feature a hard-use customer could want in a premium rifle for performance, reliability, and longevity. Not a single detail was overlooked while designing and testing these top of the line UIC models. The meticulous design and tedious assembly shows in the flawless functionality of these rifles in the hands of an end user.

The Mod 2 is truly a marvel of modern firearms design and manufacturing. It steps up performance and value with features like a billet upper receiver, HD Gas Tube, 2-stage adjustable trigger, and options for barrel length, forearm type, and color.

American Defense Manufacturing is proud to bring the next step of the UIC line to the market for 2016, a premium featured AR style rifle chambered in .308 Winchester/7.62x51mm NATO, the UIC-10A.

Featuring ergonomic fully ambidextrous controls, similar to what is found on the 5.56/.300BLK line, the UIC-10A is a standout among competitors for more reasons than just that. Each of the 4 configurations will feature a barrel length and/or contour all manufactured by Criterion Barrels Inc. The barrels are 416r Stainless Steel, 1:10 twist, Nitride finished, and the chambers are reamed to M118 Match specifications. Our barrels are capped with a suppressor mount muzzle device from the factory. The updated HD

Rail Interface featured on every rifle provides a stable, rigid, and secure free float versatile rail system available in our Low Light, KeyMod, and M-LOK patterns in 13.5” and 15” lengths. Each configuration features correct AR-10 length carbine receiver extensions, Sprinco carbon silicon extra power .308 action springs, and the HD Buffer ensuring reliable operation and eliminating any issues common to other .308 AR pattern rifles. THE AUTO LOCK™ LEVER SYSTEM TACTICAL LEVER UPGRADE

If replacing the levers on an AD-Recon or any other dual throw lever mount, you will need to order two assembly’s. These levers will fit all American Defense Mounts except the AD-15R, AD-Delta and the AD-RMR-RH. (Extended thumb pad will face upward.) NOTE: Some mounts (mostly older models) use the smaller .187" bolt, compared to the new .203" bolt. To tell what bolt size you need, remove your throw lever assembly from the mount. With a calipers, measure the width and height of the throw lever cross bolt. If both measurements are .187", you need a .187" bolt. If the width measures .203", you need a .203" bolt. Alternatively, If 2 Quarters and 1 Penny fit snug in the cross bolt slot on the bottom of the mount itself, you need a .187" bolt. If 2 Quarters and a Nickel fit snug, then you need a .203" Bolt. Includes Tactical Lever, Bolt and spare adjustment nut.

The AD-B3-HD modular base is a new medium base in our modular lineup. With the added security of two QD Auto Lock throw levers it is a full-size mount for the ACOG and VCOG optics from Trijicon. Alternatively it can accept several different risers to accommodate a variety of uses.

The B2-T1CO and B2-T1SOCOM Riser is designed to interface with the B2 modular base is configured for the Aimpoint Micro T-1. The B2-T1SOCOM It will put the iron sights in the lower one third of the optic.

The B2-CM4SOCOM Riser is designed to interface with the B2 modular base is configured for the Aimpoint Comp M4. It will put the iron sights in the lower third of the optic.
