Employees have played an important role in building and developing the Busana Apparel Group throughout its history and will continue to do so in the future. The Management recognizes that employees are also parents who dream of being able to provide their children with higher education. To manifest these hopes, the Busana Apparel Group has established the Manimaren Scholarship Program. It is named after the late founder, Mr. Manimaren. After going through a rigorous selection process, Aldi Rahman was selected as the first recipient of Manimaren Scholarship Program for the school year 2015 to 2016. Aldi Rahman is the son of Sri Mulyati an employee of Cileungsi unit of PT Citra Abadi Sejati who has worked with our company since the year 2005. Aldi Rahman will pursue a degree at Bogor Agricultural University majoring in Water Technology. He is an active student and has had many educational achievements thus far. In February 2016, the scholarship certificates were handed over by Mr. Maniwanen, Chairman of Busana Apparel Group, and Ms. Marissa Maren, the Commissioner of Busana Apparel Group, to Aldi Rahman. Also present where his mother, Sri Mulyati, and his father, Rahman Hakim. The management of PT Citra Abadi Sejati are confident that this scholarship program will provide a positive influence and inspiration to all parties. Inauguration of The Learning Center

A Learning Center was created at Cileungsi unit of PT Citra Abadi Sejati in November 2015. The Learning Center houses a library and reading room for employees. The employees now have a space where they can acquire valuable knowledge through books and other media available. Training programs are also held at this Learning Center. The facility was officially launched and inaugurated by Mr. Maniwanen and Ms. Marissa Maren in the presence of the Senior Management, staff, employees and the Workers Union representatives in February 2016.

HER Project – Peer Educator Training

The HER project was successfully completed at PT Citra Abadi Sejati, Bogor, 37 peer educators were successfully trained throught this program. These trained peer educators are now ready to share the knowledge gained with other employees & the community. An event was held to mark this milestone. In this event labeled ‘Ladies Go Spirit!’ the peer educators shared some of their learning about health. They conveyed this information about family planning, various types of cancer, etc. through plays, poetry and readings. The successful trainees were also presented some awards.

New Office Bearers of The Cooperative Society 2016 - 2018

In January 2016, new office bearers to the Cooperative Society of PT Citra Abadi Sejati – Cileungsi unit were elected. Mustofa from Electric Department was elected as the Cooperative Society Chief and Adit Eko from Mechanic Department was elected as the Superintendent. The office bearers were elected for the period 2016 – 2018. Of the 2240 votes counted, Mustofa polled 1491 votes. This is his second term at this post. We wish him all success and hope that he will continue the good work that he has done in his last term.

Bipartite Meeting

A Bipartite meeting was also held during this period. The Bipartite meeting between representatives of the Employees and the Management is an idea forum for communication and consultation. During this meeting, various issues are discussed and solutions found.

Heesu Foundation Visit

The quarterly visit of employees of PT Citra Abadi Sejati, Cileungsi to the Heesu Foundation has been going on since April 2012. The Heesu Foundation is an organization dedicated to rehabilitating children with physical and mental disabilities. On a visit in the first quarter 2016, representatives met with the children at the Heesu Foundation. A donation of USD 320 was submitted to the board of trustees.

Environmental Initiative Energy Management Training

The purpose of standardization of energy management is to establish the systems and processes necessary to improve energy use. Li & Fung Jakarta in collaboration with the British Standard Institution invited the Boiler and Electric Maintenance teams of PT Citra Abadi Sejati, Cileungsi unit to participate in a session on sharing knowledge about how to maximize savings in power consumption at the plant through simple concepts. They discussed how energy consumption can be improved through measurement, documentation and reporting, procurement practices for equipment and systems and processes.
