introduction Congratulations!
You are now a part of the #teamBattRE. BattRE app actively enables smart and connected systems for your BattRE Scooter.
This user guide will help you extract the maximum benefits from your internet-powered smart electric vehicle. Contact us for any queries about the smart systems on your BattRE IOT Electric Scooter.
1) setting up your app
1. Open Google Play Store on your Android Phone. Select the app BattRE.
2. Click the Install button and install the BattRE App on your phone.

3. Open the BattRE App after the installation is complete.
4. Sign-in to the App using one of the three options: a) Google Account b) Facebook Account c) Phone Number

5. Here, we are signing up using the phone number. Select your country and enter your mobile phone number.
5A. Click on “Send OTP”
5B. If the SIM with the phone number is present on the phone, the App auto-detects the OTP (One Time Password). Otherwise, manually type in the OTP received as an SMS.

7. Enter your personal details. 8. Allow necessary permissions in the following screen. These permissions are required for the proper operation of the BattRE App.

9. Note that you will not be able to use the BattRE App if these permissions are not provided. Contacts permission is required for showing call notifications on your vehicle.
10. Camera permission is required to connect to the vehicle by scanning the QR code.

11. Phone permission is required for call notifications.
12. Location permission is used for navigation and directions on the vehicle.

13. Storage access is required for saving your vehicle logs on your phone.
14. Apart from these, BattRE App also needs the notification access of your phone to read notifications from your phone for showing caller information and navigation directions.

15. If the notification access is not provided, the navigation and call notification features will not work properly.
16. You must add emergency contact information so that BattRE App can trigger SOS messages in case of an emergency.

2) connecting your vehicle 2-A) connecting via QR Code
BattRE app uses
- Your mobile data to scan the QR code &
- Bluetooth in your phone to connect to your smart vehicle.
Follow these steps to connect to your vehicle using the BattRE App.
Turn ON the ignition of your vehicle. The BattRE IOT speedometer will show a QR code on the screen if it is not connected to any phone.

2-B) connecting via VIN
In a scenario where you face technical issues to connect to your vehicle, due to intermittent network connectivity or any other issue, you can connect to the vehicle using VIN.
Enter the app settings menu and switch on the “Enable connect using VIN” toggle.
The dashboard is now ready with another signing-in option.

Continue to connect by entering the VIN of your vehicle.
Enter Vehicle PIN (a security layer) to finally access the dashboard.

Drop Down Menu has got 6 options namely: a) My Profile b) My Vehicle c) Service Request d) Settings e) Demo f) Help

3-A) turning on the demo
Clicking on the Demo option will show all the elements of your dashboard in action
Demo can be turned off by clicking on ‘Turn Off Demo’

3-B) app settings
Clicking on the Settings Option will prompt you with 4 toggles such as App Theme, Distraction free riding, Night Mode and connecting app using VIN.

3-C) creating and viewing service requests
BattRE App allows you to contact your vehicle service provider or dealer directly. The built-in service request feature notifies the dealer as soon as you create a new service request.
You can also raise service requests regarding your vehicle from the BattRE App.
You can create a new service request by tapping the “Create New” button.
Type in the issue and description of the issue in the following screen and tap on the “Create” button.
- You can also add and upload a reference image.

A pop-up confirms the successful creation of a service request.
The status of the service request is shown on your BattRE App. The notification regarding the service request is sent to your vehicle dealer for processing.
Your vehicle dealer will see the service request raised with all the provided information and with the reference image.

You can add comments and your vehicle dealer can provide you with real time updates on the issue and its resolution through the “Add Comment” section.

3-D) my vehicle and subsequent options
Under My Vehicle section, Choose the option “Tap here to change Vehicle PIN”.
Enter the old PIN and the new PIN and tap on “Change Pin”
BattRE App monitors the health of your vehicle in real time and informs you about any issues in the vehicle. You can view this information by tapping the button “My Vehicle”.
This section also shows information such as your VIN and the distributor name. Note that vehicle health status is available only if the BattRE App is connected to your vehicle.

Note that only when vehicle is disconnected, changing the vehicle pin is allowed.

Hazard lights can be turned only through your BattRE App by switching the option ON in “my vehicle settings”. Anti-theft mode can be customised too.
BattRE App dashboard displays the applied setting.

3-E) customising user profile
User related information can be viewed and changed by clicking the pen tool in the top-right of the screen here under "my profile".
Entering this option would also allow you to log out.
Information useful for the user can be edited and uploaded here.

4) tremendously capable dashboard
Dashboard reflects the vehicle's current operation, when connected.
App can be disconnected with one tap (on top left).
Tap the Vehicle locator button on top right.
Vehicle can be navigated through voice commands by tapping the mic button.
Right now the vehicle is in parking mode as shown here.
As we throttle, UI indicates the speed accurately. The dashboard here can be seen in Distraction Free Mode.

Turning on the indicator is displayed simultaneously on the app's dashboard. Along with displaying that the high beam is ON.
R in the centre indicates the vehicle is riding in Reverse Mode.

Dashboard is aware of key's position. The above shown graphic appears when the vehicle is turned off.
Dashboard is also capable of showing alerts for missing key.

The navigation is ready-to-go in seconds of data fetching, assisted by google maps.

Once the navigation is ON, directions are also reflected on the dashboard.

6) analytics
Various stats such as total number of trips can be viewed along with a comprehensive mileage report.
Distance report with information such as max. distance covered and average distance covered can be viewed.
