As currently programmed, the Welcome
Center component of the building will total
approximately 48,006 gross square feet
(gsf). The intent of this program is to outline
the specific needs of the users designated
for relocation to the facility. The new
Welcome Center and associated Parking
Garage should be designed to comply with
the latest District Standards for new
construction.
What We know about the Project
Northwest Vista Welcome Center
Additionally, the facility will be adjacent
to a new 7 Level Parking Garage which
is planned to provide approximately
1,000 parking spaces. The proposed
Welcome Center and associated
Parking Garage will be located along
the main campus loop in the northeast
portion of the Northwest Vista College
campus. The Welcome Center portion
of the building will be located south of
the parking garage structure and will be
a two-story building.
