SPSA Development Process

Each school:

• Begins initial planning, review and revisions in the

spring;

• Formally, analyzes data in late summer/fall;

• Finalizes SPSA with SSC in late fall

Ed Services staff:

• Review each SPSA for compliance issue; work with

site staff to correct, if needed, prior to Board

approval

• Review each SPSA for clarity; will work with site

staff to review and revise as needed throughout year

• Submit SPSAs to Board for review and approval in

late winter, early in new year

Focus on degree of implementation of

SPSA strategies - “are we doing what we

Round 2 Monitoring (end of year)

Focus on effectiveness of SPSA strategies –
