Terms and Conditions of Print Catalog Sales and Returns for the Capitol Preservation Committee (CPC)

A. REFUNDS: All prints in the catalog are custom ordered, so there will be NO REFUNDS for prints under any circumstances. B. EXCHANGES: The only time that exchanges will be permitted is when the print is damaged during shipping. If the print is damaged during shipping, the purchaser must contact the Capitol Preservation Committee’s office within 30 days. CPC will contact UPS to come out and pickup your damaged print along with the original shipping box. After UPS gets the damaged item, they will submit the paperwork to us to fill out for the insurance claim. Please allow an additional (3) to four (4) weeks for exchanges after receipt of the insurance money as CPC has no prints in stock—all prints must be custom ordered. C. RUSH ORDERS: All rush orders are subject to additional charge. D. FRAMING: All prints come unframed, and CPC does not offer framing. Purchasers must make other arrangements if they wish to have a print framed. E. FLAW IN CERTAIN ORIGINALS: Prints numbered 77 through 85 are prints that are reproductions of original postcards dating back into the early 19th and 20th centuries. The original postcards have some flaws, and, consequently, the reprints also demonstrate those same flaws. There is nothing the Committee can do to correct any apparent flaws in the print. Simply stated, if you can see a flaw in the catalog on any of these postcard prints, those same flaws will be apparent in the final print. Refunds and exchanges will not be permitted based on the quality of ANY print. F. NO WARRANTIES: All purchasers acknowledged that there are not warranties, either express or implied, that have induced the purchaser to by any item from CPC outside of the representations contained in this agreement. G. SQUARE OR RECTANGULAR MURALS: The photographer will take the image and scale it down to fit the paper or canvas ordered so that none of the image will be cut off. H. WAIVER—PURCHASERS EXPRESSLY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO RECOVERY BASED UPON THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABLILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
