Georgia Real Estate Salesperson’s Pre-License CourseThe Center for Business Solutions at Albany Technical College is now offering the Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Pre-License course. The Center for Business Solutions and this course have been approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC). This course meets the requirements of Georgia law.

This in-classroom, live course will feature 75 hours of instruction covering all test subject areas required by the GREC to prepare for the state exam. The instructor is Lisa Davis, a licensed Georgia Real Estate Salesperson and Instructor. Davis is a Realtor® with 20 years of teaching experience in South Georgia.

Driver’s Ed for Teens to fulfill Joshua’s LawOur Driver’s Ed program includes the 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction required for Joshua’s Law. This class is $350 and the state of Georgia has some grant funding to provide parents with financial assistance for this class. Driver’s Education for AdultsNeed a Driver’s License for employment? Albany Tech offers one-on-one driving instruction to prepare you for Georgia’s Driver’s License examination.

Our qualified and patient instructors have flexible schedules to meet your scheduling needs, and the instructor can pick you up from your location and deliver you back at the end of class.

CDL Refresher CourseFor individuals currently holding a CDL who need a refresher course, we offer a 40-hour refresher course. Sessions are offered on an as-needed basis. Call 229-430-3867, if interested.

VEHICLE TRAINING

Forklift Operator TrainingReceive operator training in accordance with OSHA Standard 1910.178. The program fully covers the requirements to be an efficient and safe forklift operator. This course is eight hours in length and includes three hours of classroom training with the balance devoted to hands-on driving.Classes are Saturdays from 8:00am to 4:00pmFee: $100 for early registration (early registration closes 8 days before class); $110 for late registration. REGISTRATION FOR EACH CLASS CLOSES ON THE THURSDAY PRIOR TO THE CLASS AT 5:00PM.
