NEW! Pinhole CameraHave you ever taken a picture through a box? A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny pinhole instead and can be made out of many different things. It is effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side. Light from a scene passes through the aperture and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box, which is known as the camera obscura (pinhole image) effect. Learn how to take a picture through your very own Pinhole Camera.

Exploring Natural Healing/Alternative Healthcare A miracle for some; a disappointment for others. Why? This course will look at the human behavior side of why we get sick. We will look at how best to decide whether or not to use alternative healthcare and help put our healthcare choices into perspective so that individuals do not become disillusioned. If we do not understand how to use alternatives or how best to build a health care team especially when facing the challenges of serious health diagnoses, then the cost can be great in many different ways.

Many years ago Len Parkin was a Holistic Healthcare Consultant. During those years he came to the conclusion that human behaviour was at the root of many of our modern disease states. His expertise centered on autoimmune diseases but over time he became well known for his overall perspectives on alternative healthcare choices.

Tue / Jan 23-Feb 13 / 4 sessions / 6:30-8:30pm / L. Parkin / $99 +GST / GIHE-388-CS01
