From a series of 85 “Soaked Almonds”: As the mandorla - the almond symbolizes the intersection of opposing forces, and refers to earlier personal, as well as Judeo-Christian, iconography. When soaked, the almonds, become as ‘living beings’ - taking on especial visual and nutritive aspects.

From a continuing series of 50 “Epigrams”: Medium to large sized, ambiguously worded, built surfaces on collaged paper or wood.Many “Epigrams” are constructed of several sheets of paper - connoting ‘levels of consciousness’; and/or are in (faux) triptych format.
They offer personal and universal socio/cultural commentary.
