A Contract for Entertainment Services

Chris Stockton (and/or associates), of Magical Events, agrees to provide magical and related entertainment to ________________________________________ , located at _________________________________________ on _____________ from ______ am/pmuntil _______________ for a total of _____ hour(s) for a fee of $_____________.

Terms of Service: (Line through and initial to the left any principle below that is not applicable.)

1) The performer agrees to provide magical and/or other related entertainment services for the period identified above.

2) The performer agrees to provide services only on the designated dates above and for the specified period of time.

3) The performer agrees to arrive at a time appropriate for any required set-up at no additional charge to the client.

4) The performer agrees to strike the performance set and props within a period of time sufficient to clear the area without damage to the materials or show place.

5) The performer reserves the right to suspend set-up and performance activities if he or she deems, for any reason, that the circumstances are not suitable for the quality of the show, security of the show props and/or performers, or for any other reason that the performer may experience that might impede the successful delivery of the contracted services.

6) The client agrees to pay the full fee for the contracted performance upon the arrival of the performer in cash, check, or money order.

7) The client agrees to provide the performer adequate time on location of the performance for setting up and striking the props and materials for the show.

8) The client agrees to notify the performer no later than 48 hours in advance of a performance of an intention to cancel the contracted entertainment services. (Not negotiable)

9) The client agrees to pay 50% of the contracted fee for entertainment services if notification of an intention to cancel a contracted performance is made within 48 hours of the scheduled performance. (Not negotiable)
