Positively impacts student performance, especially in identifying, narrowing, or closing the gaps in student achievement.

Analyzes and uses data for decision-making.

Leads an organization with diverse cultures.

Possesses a strong business and financial background, and fiscal responsibility and knowledge of the Florida Educational Finance Program.

Uses technology to ensure its assimilation and impact on district systems, as well as its integration with teaching and learning.

Builds successful relationships with all stakeholder groups, including the media.

Views the School Board as a partner in meeting the goals of the district, and can demonstrate past positive working relationships, centered on open, two-way communication.

Is approachable, combined with an outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional leadership qualities will be identified during community input sessions and through an online survey for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Minimum of ten years of executive administrative and/or management experience.

Background check as mandated by Florida Statute 1012.315.
