Conventions on my contents page…

I have included my masthead on my contents page too and have also written ‘inside this week’ above all the content of my contents page

At the bottom of my contents page I have included a subscription box and a small image of my front cover.

I also have all of the other main features in my magazine listed along the side of my contents page, this is a main conventional feature of an indie magazine

On my contents page I have just used the one main image and have included text underneath it.

I have carried on my house style on my contents page and have continued to use modern font styles and the three main colours; red, white and black. These colours are conventional for an indie magazine

Conventions on my double page spread…

A main feature of an indie/rock magazine is to have a subscription box at the very bottom, this is something that I have included in my own contents page too.I have listed all of the features within my magazine along the side of my contents page which is something that you would expect to see in nearly all indie magazines, this makes my contents page conventional. The use of ‘inside this week’ and having my masthead in the primary optical area is also conventional and insures that my magazine fits in with the indie genre.I have one main image and text underneath it just like NME did on their contents page.I have also carried on the use of my house style onto my contents page and have made sure that I still used modern font styles and the colours red, white and black, which are all conventional for an indie/rock magazine.
