Incorporate elements of Project Based Learning to ensure authentic connections to arts community through a modified block schedule.
Who
?STUDENTS:This program is best suited for students who are very focused on a career and future in the performing or visual arts, or design. In this context, the art is not an added elective - it is the core. Students would audition or perform to get in, with the only criteria being talent.
We could open with 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade with 50 students at each grade level. Each year thereafter, we would add one grade level and 50 more students.
