What makes Famous 4th Street cookies so Famous?The dough is made in our small batch bakery in Philadelphia using all-natural ingredients. There are never any artificial flavors or additives of any kind. We use genuine Hershey’s chocolate chips and all premium ingredients to make the best homemade cookie you have ever tasted.
Can a customer order more than one variety of cookie in a single order?The only option to mix flavors is the Famous Classic selection. This item contains equal amounts of Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Chip Walnut dough. All other options consist of only the single flavor listed.
How do I bake the cookies?In a convection oven, bake the cookies at 300 for 18 minutes (turning the tray around after 9 minutes).In a standard oven, bake the cookies at 325 to 350 for 15-20 minutes until the cookies all golden brown. Again, turn the tray around halfway through the baking. Cooking times may vary, depending on the actual temperature of the oven.
For how long are baked cookies good?We recommend eating the cookies within 4 days or freezing the leftovers. You can reheat frozen cookies for 10 seconds in the microwave. They taste fresh baked!
How long does the dough last in the refrigerator?The dough will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 90 days. If you wish to extend the shelf life, it can be frozen for up to 1 year.
How many cookies do I get in a pound?The pre-formed pucks are 1oz each so there are 16 cookies per pound. For the scoopable dough, we suggest using a 1oz scoop so you will still get 16 cookies per pound.
How much money will my organization receive?Your organization will receive approximately 10 cents per cookie.

Can we order baked cookies?We do not offer baked cookies for fundraising. However, Famous 4th Street Cookies ships anywhere in the US! Go to famouscookies.com to order your cookies online and have them delivered to you or a friend or pick them up at our bakery or Reading Terminal Market locations.
