What can you do at home?Refer to tonights hand outs (KEEP them handy for future reference). Establish a homework routine (consistent time and place). Work with your child to practice their Letterland homework or snap word lists nightly.Actively participate in your childs nightly reading. Read weekly newsletters for updates about what we are learning in the classroom. Ask your child specific questions about what he/she is learning. Send a healthy snack with your child each day. There will be nightly math homework.

ConferencesAll students will receive interim reports each quarter. At the end of quarter 1 and 3 there will be a conference. 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters- report cards come homeIf you need to schedule a conference with me at any other time of the year, please send in a note or an email and we can schedule a time to get together. I cannot meet with you during lunch, arrival or dismissal.

Wrap it up!Folders go home everyday! Please check your childs folder and book bag daily! All notes should be sent in the folder. Volunteers-Please sign up on the computer in the Media Center.
