• Submit the Plan for Sport/Coop to your Coop Coordinator

• No-Op is NOT an Option While In Season– Temping, Interning, Community Service or Coop
• Required to Discuss With COOP Advisor (mtg)
• You MUST Explain In Season Requirements to Employers During Interview & At Job Acceptance
• Plan for Housing and Commute
• Documented Good Faith Effort – Required for NCAA Eligibility
If you are training or playing while on coop in any capacity…Submit a Sport/Coop Plan (NEW)
– Fill out the paper work, have coach & employer sign and submit it to your coop employer (Coach and employer signs off on the plan for in-season and preseason)
– This ensures that employers and coaches understand and agree with your expectations, requirements and deliverables in both work and sport (no gray area and no changing the plan that was agreed on during the interview)

• Written Notification is sent to every employer from SCDC – That You are a Student-Athlete– A Sport/Coop Plan is Expected to be Set up and
it is OK with Coach and Your Employer– Make Sure you have Notified Your Employer

• Submit Update of Job Search Activity– Weekly – Friday at Noon

International Students
• Must select a coop job that is specifically related their major/career path
• Must have their job approved by coop prior to starting
• Must have ISSS approve their job prior to starting & document your start/end date
• Make sure your I-20 is up to date with ISSS
