Error Messages – how to fix them

Nr Error description Explanation & how to fix them001 File content is not supported. Please

refer to Knowledge Centre, section Transaction Services and option Address book.

This error message occurs if the file you are trying to import was not created via the “download addressees” option in IBP. You might have created it by using the “export” option in stead of “download addressees”. Please download the file again from IBP using the ‘Download addressees’ option as described on previous pages in this instruction and after that import the file again in Inside Business.

002 This file extension is not supported. Please select a file with file extension(s): csv. Please refer to Knowledge Centre, section Transaction Services and option Address book.

The file you are trying to import does not have a .CSV extension. Please make sure that the file you saved in Step 3 is indeed a Comma SeperatedValue file (.CSV). If the file does not have a CSV extension, then please repeat step 1,2, and 3..And please make sure that the file you have selected during Step 4 to import into Inside Business is indeed the same file that was created during step 1, 2 and 3.

003 Error at row X: Duplicate addressee account found. Please refer to Knowledge Centre, section Transaction Services and optionAddress book.

This message occurs if in the IBP address book the same IBAN occurs twice (or more) for the same addressee. These duplicate IBAN’s are not accepted in the Inside Business address book. Please follow the instructions on the next pages to solve this error.

Other errors are unlikely to occur but if this happens they should be self-explanatory, i.e. easy to understand. If you can’t solve them then please contact your regular ING support contact.
