USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED BYBLING SOFTWARE LIMITED TO ITS CUSTOMERS FOR THEIRUSE EXCLUSIVELY AS MORE PARTICULARLY SET FORTH INTHIS AGREEMENT BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THETERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOTUSE THE SOFTWARE. USING ANY PART OF THE SOFTWAREINDICATES THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS.GRANT OF LICENSE: BLING SOFTWARE LIMITED (the "Licen-sor") grants to you solely during the Term hereof (definedbelow), this personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable,non-assignable license solely to use a single copy of the Li-censed Works, as defined below, on a single computer for useby a single concurrent user only in connection with a singlecomputer, workstation, personal assistant or other electronicdevice for which the Software has been designed, and solelyprovided that you adhere to all of the terms and conditions ofthis Agreement.The foregoing is an express limited use li-cense and not an assignment, sale, or other transfer of the Li-censed Works or any Intellectual Property Rights, as definedbelow, of Licensor.

DEFINITION: For purposes of this Agreement, the terms "you","your," "yourself," or "user" are synonymous, and refer tosomeone who purchases a license to use a single copy of theLicensed Works from Licensor or a Licensor authorized re-seller.

ASSENT: By installing the Software, you agree that this Agree-ment is a legally binding and valid contract, agree to abide bythe intellectual property laws and all of the terms and condi-tions of this Agreement, and further agree to take all neces-sary steps to ensure that the terms and conditions of this

Agreement are not violated by any person or entity under yourcontrol or in your service.

OWNERSHIP OF SOFTWARE:The Licensor and/or its affiliatesown certain rights (that may exist from time to time in this orany other jurisdiction, whether foreign or domestic) underpatent law, copyright law, publicity rights law, moral rights law,trade secret law, trademark law, unfair competition law or othersimilar protections, (regardless of whether or not such rightsor protections are registered or perfected and regardless ofwhether such rights accrue to Licensor directly or by an ex-press or implied license) (the "Intellectual Property Rights") inthe Software together with any related documentation (includ-ing design, systems and user) and in other materials for use inconnection with the Software all as contained in the applica-tion when and as installed from the Software provided to youby Licensor (collectively, the "Licensed Works"). ALL INTEL-LECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN AND TO THE LICENSEDWORKS ARE AND SHALL REMAIN IN LICENSOR AND THE LI-CENSE HEREUNDER SHALL IN NO WAY DIMINISH LICEN-SOR'S RIGHT,TITLE AND INTEREST THEREIN. All rights notexpressly licensed to you in this License Agreement are ex-pressly reserved by Licensor.

NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT:You shall not use the Soft-ware for any purpose that will infringe the rights of copyrightowners concerning the copying, distribution, modification,public display and public performance of their copyrightedworks. As a condition for your use of the Licensed Works, youmust agree that you will not use the Licensed Works to infringethe copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others inany way.

NO COMMERCIAL USE:This License Agreement grants youthe right to use the Licensed Works for personal use only.Commercial use of the Licensed Works or of the work productsresulting from their use is not permitted under this LicenseAgreement.

RESTRICTIONS:(a) You are expressly prohibited from copying, modifying, merging,selling, leasing, redistributing, assigning, or transferring in any mat-ter, the Licensed Works or any portion thereof.(b) You may make a single copy of the Software provided to youonly as required for backup purposes.(c) You are also expressly prohibited from reverse engineering, de-compiling, translating, disassembling, deciphering, decrypting, orotherwise attempting to discover the source code of the LicensedWorks as the Licensed Works contain proprietary material of Licen-sor and/or other third-party licensors.You may not otherwise modify,alter, adapt, or merge the Licensed Works.(d) You may not remove, alter, deface, overprint or otherwise ob-scure Licensor patent, trademark, service mark, logo or copyrightnotices.e) You agree that the Licensed Works will not be shipped, sent,transferred or exported into any other country, or used in any man-ner prohibited by any government agency or any export laws, re-strictions or regulations.(f) You may not publish or distribute in any form of electronic orprinted communication the materials within or otherwise related toLicensed Works, including but not limited to the object code, docu-mentation and help files.(g) You may not use the Licensed Works to violate the rights of oth-ers.(h) You may use the Licensed Works with only one phone numberassigned to a phone you either own or personally control and youwill not attempt to defeat this limitation.

SUPPORT:(i) Licensor will provide you with the support services ("SupportServices") as defined below for a period of one year upon:(a) payment for the Software License; and(b) successful completion of the Support Services SubscriptionForm as provided to you with this Agreement or as available on thewebsite www.defender-pro.com.(ii) Support Services will terminate unless the Software License isrenewed annually by payment of the then current annual renewalfee.(iii) By completion of the Support Services Subscription Form youconsent to the terms of the Privacy Policy attached to this Agree-ment.(iv) Support Services shall be limited to:(a) Constant updates of antivirus databases;(b) Free software updates;(c) Extended technical support via e-mail and phone hot-line;(d) Virus detection and curing updates in a 24-hour period.

TERM: This Agreement is effective upon installation of the Softwareand shall remain in effect for the shorter of one year or the earliertermination thereof as provided herein.You may terminate thisAgreement at any time by uninstalling the Licensed Works and de-stroying all copies of the Licensed Works. Upon any termination,you agree to uninstall the Licensed Works and return or destroy allcopies of the Licensed Works, any accompanying documentation,and all other associated materials.

GOVERNING LAW: This License Agreement shall be governed bythe laws of Gibraltar, and any disputes arising in respect of it shallbe determined in the exclusive jurisdiction of the Supreme Court ofGibraltar.

YOUR WARRANTIES:You expressly agree and represent that, asto your use of the Licensed Works with respect to other works suchas audio and video files, such other works and your use of them willnot infringe upon the rights of any third party under copyright or anyother applicable intellectual property laws such as trademark,patent or publicity and privacy laws.You will defend and indemnifythe Licensor against any claims arising out of any breach of yourwarranty and representation and in connection therewith the Licen-sor shall be entitled to retain counsel of its own choice at your ex-pense.

SEVERABILITY: In the event any provision of this License Agree-ment is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, le-gality and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions shall notin any way be affected or impaired and a valid, legal and enforce-able provision of similar intent and economic impact shall be substi-tuted therefore.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This License Agreement sets forth the en-tire understanding and agreement between you and Licensor andsupersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral, with re-spect to the Licensed Works, and may be amended only in a writingsigned by both parties.

Installation Instructions

Insert the 123 Copy DVD Platinum CD-ROM intoyour CD-ROM/DVD drive in your computer. Windows shouldautomatically detect the CD and launch the installationmenu.

Note: If Windows does not recognize the CD-ROM and doesnot launch the setup program, simply run “123CopyDVD-Platinum.exe” in the root directory of the CD-ROM. This willlaunch the executable that will allow you to properly installthe application.

Follow the on-screen installation instructions to completesetup.

For complete functionality be sure to follow the instructionsthat appear on the web page, which launches during installa-tion.

The increasing popularity of digital devices and dis-tribution has made it very important for your media; whetheraudio, videos or photos; to be flexible. This means the abilityto convert media files to varying formats, compatibility withdifferent devices and the ability to obtain media from multiplesources. While there are many applications that do a few ofthese things, none of them tie them all together and makethe process as easy to use as 123 Copy DVD Platinum.

123 Copy DVD Platinum will allow you to convertaudio and video files from many sources to a wide variety offormats. You will be able to capture audio and video frommany sources including your old cassette players and yourvideo camera. Your entire collection of music, video files,DVDs and even Blu-ray discs can be backed up so that younever have to worry about these items being lost or dam-aged. It does all this and so much more!

CopyUnder the “Copy” menu you are given the option of

copying media from Blu-ray discs, DVDs, Audio CDs, InternetVideos and a number of audio and video files.

Blu-Ray Video- Insert a Blu-Ray disc and select “Blu-Ray Video”

from the available menu items.

- You can then choose from a number of formats andmedia to copy to including Windows Media Video, AppleMP4, DivX, single and dual layered DVD, single and dual lay-ered Blu-Ray discs and other formats. These essentiallybreak down into 2 categories (discs and file formats).

FILE FORMAT- If you chose a file format the next step will

be to choose a save location for the converted file. Make sure the location contains at least 10GB of free space.

- Press the “Save” button and the conversionprocess will begin. Once it is completed the converted filewill be in the location you specified.

DISCS- Select the disc format you would like to

copy to (Single Layer DVD, Dual Layer DVD, Single Layer Blu-ray or Dual Layer Blu-ray). Click on the disc format andprocessing will begin.

- You will be presented with the “Burn EngineSettings”

- Engine: Use the default “Internal 123 Burn Engine”.

- Burner: Select the appropriate burner drive for the media you chose.

- Volume Name: Type in the name you would like to use for the disc you are creating.

- Recording Mode: This cannot be changed for Blu-ray disc copying.

- Image Type: This cannot be changed for Blu-ray disc copying.

- Simulate: Checking this box will allow you to simulate the burning process without actually burning to the disc. This is recommended if you want to make sure the burn willwork without wasting your media.

- Close Disc: Checking this box ensures that the disc cannot be rewritten once it is created.

- Eject when complete: Checking this box will cause the created disc to be ejected when complete.

- Once you have made all of these selections and make sure there is a blank disc in the drive, “Ready to Burn” will appear beneath the settings window.Press the “Burn” button to begin the process.

- Once the process is complete you will beasked if you want to burn another copy.You can insert another blank disc and pressthe “Yes” button or press the “No” button to end the burning process.

DVD Video- Insert a DVD and select “DVD Video” from the available menu items.

- You can then choose from a number of formats andmedia to copy to including Windows Media Video, Apple MP4, DivX, single and dual layered DVD andother formats. These essentially break down into 2 categories (discs and file formats).

- Once you have made your selection processing shall begin.

- You will be presented with the “Burn EngineSettings”

- Engine: Use the default “Internal 123 Burn Engine”.

- Burner: Select the appropriate burner drive for the media you chose.

- Volume Name: Type in the name you would like to use for the disc you are creating.

- Recording Mode:“Incremental” allows files to be added to a DVD disc one recordingat a time.

“Disc-At-Once” burns the entire discat once and is the faster burning method.

Image Type: This cannot be changed for DVD Video copying.

- “Searching for CDDB info” will appear as the CD information is collected.

- Under “Audio Settings” set the “Output Encoding”format for each CD track.

- Adjust the audio bitrate for each CD track.

- Press the “Rip CD Tracks” button once all settings have been made.

- You will be prompted to select the output folder forthe ripped CD tracks. Once you have chosen the folder press the “Ok” button and the conversion process will begin.

- Once this process is complete you will be asked if you want to rip this CD to another folder. If you choose “Yes”, repeat the steps above. If you choose“No” then the ripping process is complete.

Internet Video

- Select “Internet Video” from the available menuitems.

- You can type in a phrase or paste a URL into the “Search” field that is displayed. Press the “Go”button or hit enter on your keyboard to begin the search.

- If you typed in a search phrase several tabs will appear with videos from YouTube, Google Video, etc.

- Click on the thumbnail of the video you would like to convert and the web page will be loaded. You are taken directly to the web page if you placed a URL in the “Search” field.

- If the page contains video content, “Video Found”will appear at the bottom of the screen with a “Download” button to the right of it. Press the “Download” button.

- You will be presented with several options of devices and formats that you can convert to.Choose the desired device or format.

- You can then adjust the video and audio bitrates as well as the Full Screen and Widescreen Resolutions. You also have the option check the box for “Fit to Size” and adjusting the maximum size of the output file.

- Once you have finalized your settings, hit the “Accept” button.

- Select the location where you would like to savethe converted video file and press the “Save”button. The conversion process will begin.

- Once the process is complete the converted file willbe located in the previously specified location.

Files- Select “Files” from the available menu items.

- Press the “Add Files” or “Add Folder” button to add specific video or audio files or all of the video/audio files in a folder.

- For each video file:

- Click on the video file for which you would like to customize the settings.

- Click on the output device or format you would like to convert to.

- Adjust the Video and Audio bitrates.- If you want to limit the size of the output file, check the box to the left of “Fit to size”and set the size limit.

- Adjust the Full screen and Widescreen resolutions

- For each audio file:-Click on the audio file for which you would like to customize the settings.

- Select the “Output Encoding” format you want to convert to.

- Adjust the Audio bitrate

- Once all of these settings have been set press the “Copy” button.

- You will be prompted to select the save location.Once you have made this selection press the “Save” button and the conversion process will begin.

- Once the process is complete the converted files can be found in the save location you specified.

CreateThe “Create” menu gives you the option to create

Audio CDs, Video DVDs, Data Discs, Video files, Audiorecordings, ringtones and wallpaper from movie scenes.

Audio CD- Select “Audio CD” from the available menu items.

- Press the “Add Files” or “Add Folder” button to add specific audio files or all of the audio files in a folder.

- If you want to remove any of the songs from your list, click on the audio file and press the “RemoveSelected” button.

- To change the order of your track list, click on the audio file and press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the song within your track list.

- The bar at the bottom of the screen will let youknow how much space the track list will take up on the Audio CD.

- Once you have made all of your selections, press the “Create” button and the conversion process will begin.

- Once this is complete you will be presented with the “Burn Engine Settings”

- Engine: Use the default “Internal 123 Burn Engine”.

- Burner: Select your CD burner drive.

- Volume Name: Type in the name you wouldlike to use for the CD you are creating.

- Recording Mode:“Session-At-Once” burns the entire disc at

once and is the faster burning method.“Track-At-Once” burns each track one at a

time and is the safer burning method.

- Image Type: This cannot be changed for Audio CD creation.

- Simulate: Checking this box will allow youto simulate the burning process withoutactually burning to the disc. This is recommended if you want to make sure the burn will work without wasting a CD.

- Close Disc: Checking this box ensures thatthe CD cannot be rewritten once it is created.

-Eject when complete: Checking this box willcause the created CD to be ejected when complete.

- Once you have made all of these selections andmake sure there is a blank CD in the drive, “Readyto Burn” will appear beneath the settings window.Press the “Burn” button to begin the process.

- Once the process is complete you will be asked if you want to burn another copy. You can insert another blank CD and press the “Yes” button or press the “No” button to end the burning process.

Audio Recording- Select “Audio Recording” from the available menu items.

- Connect your audio device (cassette player, turntable, microphone, etc.) to the microphone or line-in input on your PC.

- Select the Audio Input from the drop down menu atthe top-right.

- Select the “Output Encoding” format from the drop down menu below “Audio Settings”.

- Adjust the Audio Bitrate

- Select either “Manually stop recording” or “Automatically stop after:”

Manually stop recording- Press the “Record” button.- Once you are ready to end the recording press the “Stop” button.

Automatically stop after:- Set the recording duration. This can be done by highlighting the hours, minutes and/or seconds andentering a time using the keyboard or using the up and down arrows tothe right of these values.

- Once the recording is complete, press the play button to review your recording.

- If you are satisfied with the recording press the “Save” button.

- You will be prompted to choose a save location.Once you have chosen a save location, press the “Save” button and the conversion process will begin.

- Once the process is complete the audio file can be found in the save location you specified.

Ringtone- Select “Ringtone” from the available menu items.

- Once the audio editor is loaded, press the “Open”button (2nd button above the audio editor).

- There are many options available for editing your ringtone.

- New: removes the current audio file and opens a new audio editor screen.

- Open: allows you to locate and load the audio file you would like to edit for your ringtone.

- Save: allows you to save your ringtone as afile on your computer.

- Save and Send to Phone: allows you to save your ringtone as a file on your computer and enter your cell phone information to send the ringtone to your phone.

- Cut: allows you to remove and store the selected section of the waveform.

- Copy: allows you to copy and store the selected section of the waveform.

- Paste (Insert): allows you to insert the stored section of the waveform at the current cursor position.

- Paste (Append): inserts the stored section of the waveform at the end of the current waveform.

- Delete: erases the selected section of thewaveform.

- Crop: erases everything except for the selected section of the waveform.

- Undo: undoes the last change that you made.

- Zoom In: shows a smaller portion of the waveform in the full editor screen for more precise editing.

- Zoom Out: shows a larger portion of thewaveform in the full editor screen.

- Display All: shows all parts of the waveformthat have not been edited out.

- Play Selected: plays the highlighted portionof the waveform.

- Play: plays the waveform from beginning toend.

- Pause: pauses playback.

- Stop: stops playback.

- Once you are done editing the ringtone, select either “Save” or “Save and Send to Phone”.

“Save”- Will prompt you to choose a save

location on your computer. Onceyou have chosen a location hit the “Save” button.

- Once the process is complete the created file can be found in the save location you specified.

“Save and Send to Phone”- Will prompt you to choose a save location on your computer. Onceyou have chosen a location hit the

“Save” button and the uploading process will begin.

- You will then be prompted to enteryour mobile phone operator and 10-digit number.- You can check the box to the left of“Remember me” to keep this information stored in theapplication.

- Once you have done this click on the Send button. The audio filewill be sent to your cell phone andyou can save it as a ringtone.

Wallpaper from DVD- Select “Wallpaper from DVD” from the available menu items.

- Make sure to have a DVD movie inserted in yourDVD drive.

- Under “Input Settings”, select the title for the movie(usually the longest time length).

- Under “Output Settings”, choose the output formatfrom the drop down menu.

- Then choose the size under “Output Settings”. Youcan choose one of the options from the drop down menu or you customize the size by using theoptions underneath the drop down menu.

- Press the Play/Pause button to begin the movie and use the fast forward and rewind buttons to getto the scene you would like to capture. Press the Play/Pause button again once you have reached the scene you would like to capture.

- Press the “Save” button once you are at the sceneyou want to capture and all of your setting adjustments have been made.

- You will then be prompted to choose a save location. Once you have chosen this location and named the file. Press the “Save” button.

- Once the process is complete the picture file canbe found in the save location you specified.

Video- Select “Video” from the available menu items.

- Once the video editor is loaded you can use thefollowing options which appear above the editor from left to right:

- “Add a video file to the timeline” - You can’choose from MPEG video AVI video, WMV, DVR-MS and .Tivo files.

- “Add an audio file to the timeline” - You can choose from MP3, M4A, M4R, WMA and WAV files.

Erase RW Disc- Select “Erase RW Disc” from the available menu items.

- Insert the rewritable disc you would like to erase.

- The next window gives you a few options before erasing the disc

- Engine: Use the default “Internal 123 Burn Engine”.

- Burner: Select the appropriate drive for the disc you would like to erase.- Volume Name: This option is not used in this feature.

- Once you have made your selections, press the “Erase” button and the processing will begin.

- Once the process has been completed the rewritable disc will be blank and ready for reuse.

SettingsUnder the “Settings” menu you can designate the

temporary and output folders as well as the burning drivesfor each media format.

General- Temporary Folder: This is the folder where all of the processing for Blu-ray, DVD and all of the conversions and copying will take place.

Make sure that this folder has at least 50GB of free space.

- Default Output Folder: This folder will contain the converted files that are created. Make sure that this folder has at least 10GB of free space.

- Input Buffer Size: This value will help adjust how fast disc reading will occur. Be careful not to set this value too high. An input buffer size of 50 is usually fine for most drives but if you are experiencing any issues with this input buffer size try 16 or 8.

Burning- Burn Engine: Use the default “Internal 123 Burn Engine”

- Audio CD Burner: This will be the default drive usedto burn your Audio CDs.

- DVD Video Burner: This will be the default drive used to burn your DVDs.

- BD9 Burner: This will be the default drive used to burn Blu-ray to DVD.

- Blu-Ray Video Burner: This will be the default drive used to burn your Blu-ray to Blu- ray.

- Data Burner: This will be the default drive used to burn Data discs.
