This project commenced in November 2016 and was completed in April 2017. Flow Tech worked closely with Ship Managers A&P in developing a suitable piping system layout and completed the final fabrication, install and assisted Thales Australia in commissioning the finished product. All aspects were completed to a Lloyds Standard with military precision.

CSL GOLIATH

CSL group approached Flow Tech to provide the engineeringsolution and turn key package for the installation of 2 x Ballast WaterTreatment Systems (BWTS). A riding team was created to survey the vesseland quickly determined the best approach to the project. Our Design team and mechanical engineer effectively determined therequirements of the OEM, the system mechanical and electricalcomponents as well as the Lloyds Certification requirements. With acomprehensive understanding of the task, the design team generated a scope of works with Structural / Mechanical drawings for the newequipment and provided a complete set of ISO drawings for an off-shorecompany to fabricate and install the new BWTS. A full submission to Lloyds was completed (MDAD) and approval granted toconduct this installation. Flow Tech provided a Project Management team tosupervise the installation of the BWTS during a 45 day Dry Dockingoverseas. On completion of the installation, Flow Tech engaged with theOEM and ship’s staff to conduct Set to works and provide the crew withsystem operational training during sea trials.
