Chris Ashton (Head Mentor) With over 20 years’ experience in foreign exchange Chris is responsible for the academy and delivers the ethics course. He utilises experience gained from holding senior positions such as head of Global Spot FX at Barclays. Chris also delivers speeches for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI)

Derek Shewring (Markets History and Fundamentals Mentor) Starting in the early 1980’s Derek has traded through every major event and financial crisis, he also was a critical part of a team that grew a UK based fund to £700 million Assets under management (AUM).

Helen Culverhouse (Options Mentor) In her 15 years in financial markets, Helen has managed options portfolios and trading teams for Deutsche Bank, Bank of America and Standard Chartered. At Standard Chartered Helen led a global mentoring program trying to combat low female representation at senior levels.

Chris Allington (Trading Psychology Mentor) 20+ years’ experience holding senior positions such as Head of Financial Markets EMEA at Standard Chartered and as Managing director in Goldman Sachs Global Macro Proprietary trading business. Roger Hawes (Trading Psychology Mentor) Roger is the former Global Head of Spot FX at RBS managing teams in more than 7 countries. He regularly delivers trading psychology talks for the ACI.

Maxine Dennis (Financial Products Mentor) Maxine has held senior FX trading roles at UBS, Citi and Société Générale. Throughout her time at these institutions she has been instrumental in the development of Graduates.

Maurice Pomery (Strategy Mentor) Has traded in financial market for 30 years and as a proprietary trader at UBS and Dresdner, Maurice has traded a broad spectrum of asset classes. He now writes a daily strategy piece used by central banks, market makers and asset managers.

Darryl Hooker (Ethics and Global FX Code Mentor) Former Co-Head of EBS BrokerTec markets. He was part of working groups that formulated the Global FX Code released in 2017. Darryl continues to represent NEX on the ACI and GFXC committees.
