3Important information

Important information

The following SAP Business One versions are no longer supported:

2007: The end of life of SAP Business One 2007 was on December 31, 2011. With the end oflife/end of support for SAP Business One 2007 (see SAP Note 528296), coresystems nolonger supports SAP Business One 2007 installations as of March 1, 2012. The latestcoresuite version that is working (not supported) on 2007 is version 3.50.

8.8: The end of life of SAP Business One 8.8 was on April 30, 2011 (see SAP Note 528296).With the end of life/end of support for SAP Business One 8.8, coresystems no longersupports SAP Business One 8.8 installations as of May 1, 2012. The latest coresuite versionthat is working (not supported) on 8.8 is version 3.50.

The following SAP Business One version will only be supported until the end of 2012:

8.81: Then end of life of SAP Business One 8.81 was on February 29, 2012 (see SAP Note528296). With the end of life/end of support for SAP Business One 8.81, coresystems plansto stop supporting SAP Business One 8.81 installations as of December 31, 2012.

The following iOS version will only be supported until end of November 2012:

iOS4: iOS4 is no longer supported by Apple. With the end of life/end of support for iOS4 byApple, coresystems will stop supporting iPhones/iPads running on iOS4 by November 30th,2012. iOS4 is only fully supported by coresuite mobile until version 2.3.6.

The following iPhone version will only be supported until the end of April 2012:

iPhone 3GS: The iPhone 3GS will only be supported until April 30, 2013.

Due to a bug in the SolutionPackager (SAP NOTE 1783572), coresystems does notsupport the use of the SolutionPackager until SAP has resolved this issue.

SAP DTW (DataTransfer Workbench add-on)If data is imported to SAP Business One via SAP DTW, tables created by coresuite must not bea. updated via DTW.b. used as a reference in the import files (e.g. when importing translations).

SAP CopyExpressIf objects/data are imported to SAP Business One via SAP CopyExpress, objects (UDOs, tables,UDFs) created by coresuite must not bea. imported via SAP CopyExpress.b. used as a reference in the import files (e.g. when importing translations).

We ask you to install the latest possible version of the coresuite product, i.e. the latestpossible version in relation to the base system (mobile, ERP, software environment, etc.),because later versions usually fix the most current problems.

Before you install coresuite, make sure that your system meets the software andhardware requirements for SAP Business One. For more information, please visit www.sap.com.Some modules might have different requirements than the ones listed below. Pleasecheck the relevant manual.

Before you install coresuite on Citrix environments, make sure that your system meets therequirements specified under https://helpdesk.coresystems.ch/entries/22419836.Reported support issues caused by not following these guidelines will be charged.

Windows users need full permissions for the SAP Business One add-on directory on therelevant PC/system, and read/write permissions on the SBO_SHR directory on theserver.

For client installations on Windows 7 or Vista, you must run SAP Business One asadministrator, to be able to use the add-on.

The database user who accesses SQL, needs full permissions to create/updatedatabases.

(1) SAP Business One only supports Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 from version 2007 PL 47onwards. In connection with add-ons problems might still occur. SAP Business One only uses COM-interfaces for the communication with third-party add-ons. You must have administrator rights for SAPBusiness One to be able to install updates (right-click on the context menu). Furthermore, the User AccountControl must be disabled:

i. Procedure for SAP Business One Updates

Make sure that you have installed the latest coresuite modules before you install an SAP BusinessOne update.

ii. Supported/Faulty SAP Patch Levels

Please read the following list before you set up the customer system. Patch levels need to betested before they can be released. Therefore, they might be released with a delay.

Hardware requirements

The minimum hardware requirements are prescribed by ePages and SAP Business One. Theymust be fulfilled in order to use eCommerce pro. For further information please see www.epages.de and www.sap.com.

Please also refer to the system requirements for coresuite products.

Make sure that enough memory (RAM) is available on the server on which the eCommerceinterface is running. The required memory for the interface is about 100-150MB. However, thisdepends on the number of processes.

When you use coresuite cloud and coresuite mobile, data from the ERP system isreplicated on mobile devices and web applications. These devices and applications mightnot have the same performance as normal computers and servers.
