Professional Experience:

B Braun Medical, Irvine, CA January 2015 – July 2015QC Process Control Associate III/IV (Temp Contract)

Primary duties consist of stress testing of IV bags and the material control of label material for packaging of product. Appropriate directions for usage and other label material for packaging of product according to process orders for Irvine’s entire facility excluding B Braun’s Duplex line.

Regular inspection of B Braun's production lines performing line clearances, separations of materials, and inspection of reworked material standards with non-conformance specifications utilizing ANZI/AQL plans.

Verify deviations from regular procedure making appropriate notes in the Electronic Batch Record program. Initiate preliminary investigations and corrective actions for discrepancy management reports for the

Material Review Board utilizing B Braun’s discrepancy management system (DSMS). Review and sign documentation for product QC/QA review or release of rejected material for disposal. Maintain log records in controlled laboratory notebook and/or controlled data sheets accordingly. Work

under FDA regulation, ISO standards, 5S/6S establishments, SOP specifications, and cGMP/GOP guidelines.

Eurofins/Calscience, Garden Grove, CA November 2014 - January 2015Lab Analyst (Temp Contract)

Perform Volatile Organic Analysis testing utilizing Agilient VOA GC/MS and Teledyne Atomx autosampler for clients requiring environmental consulting of water and soil samples.

Perform sample preparation and extractions Calibrate equipment and log results of testing Reviewing of sample reports and evaluating the consistency and reliability of test results. Document and file reports generated from data analysis into LIMS database Track inventory of sample preparation and chemical inventory in controlled data sheets Maintain laboratory facilities and track consumable supplies Worked under EPA regulations, ISO standards, GLP procedures, OSHA safety procedures.

PVA TePla America, Inc., Corona, CA June 2009 - August 2013Internship(s) / Shipping and Receiving Clerk

PVA TePla America, Inc. (Cont.)

Assisted the R&D group with the reorganization and maintenance of an industrial processing laboratory. Organized the maintenance bay for efficiency and safety. Categorized the entire chemical inventory and stored each chemical in the appropriate chemical cabinets.

Assisted in the manufacture of Low Pressure RF Plasma Systems. Completed construction of various assemblies and subassemblies for the manufacturing team.

Operated plasma systems to complete contract processing of various medical devices and other consumer goods products. Collected data for application research lab notebook and sample reports.

Assisted Purchasing Manager with purchasing and tracking of system components for manufacturing. Ran inventory reports from Syteline ERP, faxed purchase orders, called vendors, and expedited parts for high priority end of year shipments.

Worked in the shipping department as a contract employee using the ERP system to receive, label, stock parts, and cycle count spare parts. Prepared shipping documentation and packaging for domestic and international export of equipment and spare parts. Utilized the UPS, DHL and FEDX shipping software. Reorganized companies stocking locations and maintained safe and secure stocking areas and storage units.

Possess strong ability to learn new software quickly.

Academic Projects:

Chemical Engineering Research Led a small group to develop a program to model an industrial furnace using both MatLab and Excel to

complete an elaborate cascade of quantitative calculations. This project used several process parameters to identify which process would maximize energy efficiency by minimizing cooling for combustion from air feed. In turn this process modeled the furnace capabilities to minimize cost expenses for materials and minimize waste byproducts.
