About usHusband and wife team Louise and Karl Baxter first opened their doors in Stourbridge two years ago, specialising in portraits of families and children. Since this time we’ve been providing exceptional quality studio style photography for a number of nurseries, pre-schools, play groups and parties across the Black Country.

We’ve always aimed to make the experience an enjoyable one for the little ones, taking the time to make everything “just so” carrying the same philosophy as we do in the studio to ensure we make images of engaged and happy children.

The results are beautiful photographs, hand finished with unrivalled quality control and a wide variety of print options from standard print packs, to posters, canvases to acrylics, gift cards to keyrings, all with peerless attention to detail and fabulous parent and carer feedback time and time again.

Commission

We offer a commission of 15% on all sales placed through the nursery. Our average order value and uptake is high, we target a £25-30 per child across the whole group, so a shoot of 40 children would normally generate around £150.00 for the nursery. A second booking in a calendar year earns 17.5%

Commission staff boards extra benefitsWe provide free prints of all staff members up to 7 x 5 inches to keep staff boards up to date. Staff photos are done at the end of the session and proof cards provided to choose from, just as we do with the children.

We deliver prints with vouchers and promotions for parents to come and use the studio facilities for family photos. If any parent from your nursery comes to see us at the studio (and many many do), we provide a 10% referal commission for you there too.

PROOFS AND ORDER FORMS

Commission Payments & staff boards

All images receive a digital spit and polish before we produce our proofs. We select the 4 best images, or 4 of each sibling and 4 group photos where practical and hand print and finish proof cards to give a realistic impression of finished quality. Proofs and order forms are delivered within 10-14 days of the shoot.

We ask that parents return proof cards and orders within a fortnight, when we’ll come back to collect them. We can make arrangements for card purchases and we accept cash or cheque payments with orders. Pho-tos are normally delivered within 14 days, though some special orders may take a little longer.

Staff photos are delivered with the parents’ orders. We normally find that some additional orders arrive late, to minimise admin, we pay final commissions on delivery of prints for any stragglers!

Hopefully you’ll see from the quality of the photography in this booklet that we’re not your “run of the mill” school photographers! We offer a premium service at a sensible, affordable price point and enjoy repeat bookings with all of our nurseries. If you’re interested in booking us, we’d love to hear from you. We are happy to visit small play groups too. Our smallest current visit is only 12 children, while the largest is around 160 and don’t forget we offer higher commissions for multiple bookings in a calendar year. Winter bookings also feature some christmas themed photos and we’re more than happy to photograph the children outside in the summer months, if weather permits.
