Building automation and control systems enhance the energy efficiency and safety of buildings through continuous monitoring and optimization of their resources.

SIBCA, through its seven business divisions and wide network of international partners, offers the consultancy, products, technology, and support required to improve the performance and safety of buildings and minimize their life-cycle costs.


Fires are among the biggest treats to people and property. When detected early, fires can be managed within sufficient lead time to allow building occupants to evacuate and firefighters to extinguish the fires.

Managing fire-related risks and accidents is a fine balance of various approaches and methods involving early detection of heat and smoke, timely and intelligible communication, simultaneous or staggered evacuation of occupants, and suppression of fires.

Protection of both people and property during a fire can be guaranteed only if the building is equipped with an integrated fire detection, mass notification and fire suppression system that works together to handle the flow of information and safeguard of assets. The requirement of such systems vary with the size, design and application of buildings and their occupancy. Therefore, every integrated life safety system requires a bespoke solution suited to the building application, such as industrial, commercial or residential
