Polytol Paints Ltd is an established manufacturer and distributor of Architectural and Decorative Paints/ Interior Deco Finishes, Automotive Refinishes, Wood Coatings, Enamels, and as well as Adhesives in Mauritius.

Since its inception in 1987 the company has expanded from a relatively small Polyester (car repair putty) manufacturer into a major player in the paints and wood coatings market. Today, Polytol is a fast growing SME with over 80 employees and an e�ective daily production capacity of 8000 litres of products across a large range of utilization.

Polytol Paints Ltd operates today as an agile multi-brand supplier of quality products to key players in the construction, interior design and automotive industry counting among its clients leading architect firms, interior deco practices, contractors, wood specialists, and automotive experts.

With a well trained workforce, a dynamic marketing team and a market-oriented product development strategy, Polytol has been built on a bed-rock of reliable service to customers across all segments.

We have recently partnered with Walplast, one of the largest Indian manufactures of building construction materials in India. With their HomeSure brand, we can provide full range of premium products such as Wall Putty’s, Ready-Mix Plasters, Crack Fillers, Textured Wall Finishes and Gypsum Plasters. These products are destined exclusively for retail, renovation, homes and residential purposes.

Our Polycolor brand consists of a full range of decorative emulsion paints and enamels as well as chlorinated rubber and epoxy paints. We strive to provide the building and construction sector with reliable products to meet their growing needs. Our various products in this line are compliant to Ecolabel and MSB standards.

Our Polymatch System consisting of more than 1100 colours supported by a fully integrated tinting colour system, which is available in most of our decorative and enamel paints. The advantage of this system is its colour precision which is over 95%, rapidity of delivery and ease of use.

We are also pioneer in Mauritius to launch “Les Paillettes” and full range of textured coatings which form part of our interior deco range. We partner in this segment with one of the European leaders in this field. Polybois, Our Wood Coatings range, is also

growing steadily by providing furniture manufacturers and other wood specialists

with quality products at competitive prices. Morever, to complete our wood products

range, we have partnered with Groupe Durieu, a leading french company to

distribute their innovative and high-end professional wood care products, all of

which are waterbased systems, under the brand name “Owatrol”.

We are the sole agent of Kapci Coatings, the leading Egyptian Automotive Paints manufacturer, in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean. Kapci is also leading the Middle East market and exporting to over 60 countries

all over the world. Our partnership covers commercial, technical and marketing areas. Thanks to this collaboration, Polytol and Kapci brands are leading the local market in the automotive paints sector. To complete our

range of automotive products, we represent a full range of premium quality car polishing system from Poland under the brand name “Brayt”.

We also represent the brand Pliogrip from Ashland, the world leading structural adhesives for plastic, composite and metal repair for the

automotive aftermarket.

Our major customer base consists of over 600 hardware shops all over Mauritius. Added to this network, our distribution base includes Furniture Manufacturers, Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Centres (Panel Beaters and Car Painters), Automotive Paints Distributors, Corporates, Hotels, Government Bodies, Small and Big Contractors, Architects, Consultants. We also service individual customers through our own outlets across several regions in Riche Terre, Port Louis, Belle Rose, St Paul and Curepipe.
