In 1996, we developed the world's first mass-produced micro-coaxial connector, CABLINE® I. As data rates and frequencies increase, our connectors have evolved to meet this demand.

Company History1963 DAI-ICHI SEIKO CO., LTD. was established for the purpose of specialized

production of high precision molds and dies in Kyoto. 1994 I-PEX CO.,LTD. was established as a connector maker in Tokyo.

1976 Manufacturer of connector equipment, and mass production was started as a OEM maker. 1996 World’s first micro-coaxial connector, “CABLINE® I” with a new method “i-Fit®,” one-

time cable assembly, was developed and mass produced.

1979 Optimal site production strategy was started.(Established Singapore DAI-ICHI PTE. LTD. ) 1997 FPC connector, MINIFLEX5, was developed.

1982 Domestic production sites were expanded. Integrated manufacture system were constructed. 1998 CABLINE series was expanded and generated sales to LCD panel for Notebook PC.

2004 Entered into a business merger with I-PEX Co., Ltd., and moved away from OEM maker to connector maker.

2001 Miniature RF coaxial connector, MHF series, was developed.

2002 MHF series was expanded and generated the sales to wireless LAN market.

2006 Stock listed on JASDAQ Securities Exchange. 2004 Integrated operation system was started by DAI-ICHI SEIKO group.

2011 Listed on 1st Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange. 2009 CABLINE®-VS was certified as a VESA standard connector by Video Electronics Standard Association.

2012 I-PEX was merged with DAI-ICHI SEIKO
