held senior corporate positions with various multinational logistics companies since

industry.

In his role as chairman and consultant, Dato’ Harun has been instrumental in

In 1996, Ariffin began his career as an executive in

Mobikom Sdn Bhd, a cellular phone operator where his

responsibilities included the maintenance, supervision and

monitoring of the mobile exchange and telecommunication

base stations.

Ariffin was subsequently employed by Vital Delta as a

Testing Engineer in 1998 and led a team responsible for

testing and commissioning works in the Optical Fiber

System for Access Networks (SDH/PDH) covering the

Northern and Central Regions of Peninsular Malaysia.

Having proven his leadership and management skills, Ariffin

was promoted to the position of Manager in the Engineering

and Logistics Unit in 2003. Within a year, he was appointed

as General Manager, and oversees the day-to-day opera-

tion in the company.

Azrul’s career in the field of Information and

Communications Technology began in 1998, when he

joined MRCB Multimedia Consortium Berhad (MMCSB) as

a Systems Administrator. His responsibilities included the

maintenance of the server farm and local area network, and

was later involved in the development and testing of the

Help Desk System for Human Resource Management

Information System.

In the year 2000, Azrul joined Apex Communications Sdn

Bhd as a Systems Engineer. During his tenure at Apex, he

was primarily involved installation, testing and

commissioning of hardware and systems for various

projects including TMTouch Voicemail, BSCS Billing

Systems for TMTouch and systems integration for the

Putrajaya Smart School Project.

In 2004, Azrul was employed by Vital Delta as a Project

Manager to lead the development team for Telekom

Malaysia’s IPVPN project. This project marked a milestone

for Vital Delta when they were accorded due recognition as

one of the best contractors for the project, successfully

meeting required deliverables for the Eastern and Southern

Regions of Peninsular Malaysia as well as six other TM

Global nodes located in Singapore, Indonesia, Los Angeles,

New York, London and Bahrain.

Having proven his management and leadership capabilities,

Azrul was subsequently promoted to the position of General

Manager, where he continues to lead the Vital Delta’s ICT

Division.

Vital Delta is experience in the import and export of

broadcasting equipment, heavy duty machinery,

telecommunication equipment and educational products

from various countries around the globe. We have been

awarded projects by various government agencies,

including Ministry Of Human Resource Malaysia, Ministry

Of Education Malaysia, Telekom Malaysia Berhad as well

as other private limited companies in Malaysia.

Our project portfolio also includes the delivery of science

and mathematics equipment to 7000 primary schools

under Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia and also the supply

of computer equipment to government agencies under

Kementerian Sumber Manusia Malaysia.

In 2008 we were appointed by EAS JV SDN BHD (Solar

Hybrid System Project-Phase 1) as a logistics service

provider. Our responsibility included handling shipments

locally and overseas (Germany, USA, Italy, South Korea).

Our role is not only managing inbound and outbound

cargo, but also warehousing, break-bulk, packing and

removal. Vital Delta has also successfully transported the

equipment (solar panels, batteries, inverters, generators

and other electrical components) to rural and isolated

sites/schools located all over Sabah by 4WD, lorry, scow,

boat and helicopter.
