The Global Compact

"UN Global CompactA note was included in the board file proposing that the Group should sign on to UN Global Compact by January 2009. A comparison between the UN Global Compact principles and the present “Fundamental Business Principles” of the Group had been made along with a compliance gap analysis revealing only minor issues. It would be easier to communicate to customers and other stakeholders on Corporate Social Responsibility efforts if the Group signed on to UN Global Compact. The board approved the accession.”
