This cascading Dudhsagar waterfall takes a steep plunge of 2000 feet down in the wooded mountains of the Western Ghats. It is also believed to be one of the highest falls in the country.Dudhsagar waterfalls situated at a distance of 60 Km from Margoa; that is, on the border of Goa and Karnataka and lying on the eastern border of Goa-Karnataka, is a beholder's delight. When to visit?The fall is generally calm during summers. But during monsoon due to incessant downpour, the falls become active and attract a huge chunk of tourists.Plunging into enjoyment with the falls:Swimming is a good option at the falls when the water is calm in desired area. The adventurers could try and climb up to the head of the falls through bushes, boulders and water. It's a tough climb which takes at least a couple of hours. The fall's surrounding area serves as a superior outing zone. Visiting Dudhsagar falls goa and enjoying it completely takes at least an entire day.
