View SAR or Make FAFSA Corrections
Once taxes have been filed, wait 3 – 11 weeks, return to the financial information tab, and select “already completed.”
If “no” is the response for all 3 questions, you will be prompted to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.
Click “ok” to be transferred to the IRS website.
Click “ok”.
Complete missing info and then click submit.
Check the “box” and click “transfer now” to transfer tax info to FAFSA.
As you return to FAFSA, note the “transferred from the IRS” message.
Once corrections are made, review changes, and then sign and submit FAFSA.
