SteP 1.On the OEM intake system there are two rubber grommets that attach the system to the radiator cover. Transfer these grommets from the OEM system to the small round holes on the bottom of the carbon fiber inlet. (See Fig. e)

SteP 2.Install the supplied grommet in the carbon fiber inlet near the MAF sensor.

SteP 3.Using a Torx T-20 screwdriver remove the two screws that attach the MAF sensor to the OEM inlet body. With the screws removed, pull the sensor out of the OEM inlet. Observe the mAF sensor’s proper orientation to the throttle body by noting the arrow’s direction. (See Fig. F)

SteP 4.At the base of the MAF sensor there is a thin rectangular shaped rubber gasket that should be discarded.

SteP 5.Locate the supplied foam gasket. Remove the white paper backing. Affix the foam gasket to the MAF sensor resting against its base. (NOTE: NOT the side the wires plug into).

SteP 6.Install the MAF sensor to the carbon inlet using the supplied M4 Allen head screws and rubber backed sealing washers. Ensure that the head of the screws contact the metAl SIDe of the washers and that the sensor is nOt InStAlleD BACkWARDS! (See Fig. G)

SteP 7.Unwrap the included high flow air filter and fit the carbon fiber inlet into the neck of the filter. Ensure that the carbon fiber inlet is well seated into the

filter. Tighten the large band clamp. (See Fig. H)

SteP 8.Slide the included silicone coupler over the carbon fiber inlet. Slide the two included band clamps over the silicone coupler.

SteP 9.Lower the complete inlet assembly into position ensuring that the two grommets installed in Step 1 are seated and that the silicone hose connects between the throttle body and the carbon fiber inlet. At this stage tighten the two band clamps fixing the silicone coupler in place. (See Fig. I-J)

SteP 10.Re-connect the MAF wire. Reinsert the breather hose into the supplied grommet.

SteP 11.Start the vehicle and check for any loose connections. Allow the car to idle for at least 5 minutes before driving.
