1. The hub

Each residence will have a hub connected to the internet.

The hub communicates wirelessly with battery-operated sensors. The hub sends information

to the cloud and is controlled by the cloud.

2. The Cloud

Every few seconds, data is transmitted between the cloud and the hub. The

data is categorized, stored and used to create valid information for end-users,

security personnel and other service providers.



3. The App

The end-user’s control interface is his mobile device.

Free apps are available for iPhone or Android devices.

In the app they can get instant status information of the system, make changes, setup new

accessories, watch live video and much more. In case of an alarm they will be notified by a

loud siren sound.

The app also offers a web shop, where they can buy new accessories and other professional

security services.

4. The CMS

Relevant data transmitted to the cloud by the hub and the app is available to the central

monitoring system (ALMA).

Security personnel surveil alarms, live video and pictures taken by the cameras.

The maintenance module keeps track of system faults. The staff can check status on

individual sensors. E.g. low battery level, internet interruption, power interruption, lost sensor

connections, etc.



5. The Setup

‘Do It Yourself’ installation and maintenance make it easy for everybody to handle the

system.

In-app wizards and videos guide the user.

New accessories are easily added to the system with few tabs in the app.

End-userConvenience during self control.

On daily basis the end-user operates the alarm with an app for Android or IOS.

Each residence has its own hub with multiple sensors and cameras.

The hub is connected via a secure tunnel to Cosesy Cloud™ and the app. Every few seconds, system-updates are sent between the hub and the cloud.

The apps are connected to the cloud via the internet. The end-user uses his app to send commands through the cloud to his hub.

Installation in 15 minutes. The hub is connected to the internet, using a standard ethernet cable. Wireless sensors are placed according to included guidelines.

The app for Android and IOS is free. It is the end-user’s control interface. A quick guide takes them through a short installation process.

An alarm will wake up the app and start the build-in app siren. At the same time the app will inform about which sensor triggered the alarm.

Customers with a compatible Wi-Fi camera can watch live HD video of their home through the app, when they are away from home.

Video transmits through highly secured data channels with end-to-end encryption.

In case of burglary or fire, guards can watch live video from the homes, using the camera*.

Privacy of the home is protected. The camera automatically turns away when people are at home. This makes them feel more secure, knowing that nobody is waching.

*Due to privacy protection of the citizens, this function is only active during alarms.

Typically, the system consists of a number of sensors, connected to an in-house hub

via RF radio technology.

The radio frequency used by the sensors, depends on the capability of the chosen hub.

Cosesy Cloud™ works with several hubs using different frequencies e.g. 433/868/915

MHz and 2.4 GHz.

The sensors can be any type e.g. door sensor, PIR motion sensor, temperature,

humidity, gas, smoke, water consumption, gas consumption, etc.

Often the technology of the sensors is rather primitive, though some sensors use

advanced technology e.g. mesh capability and encrypted radio transmission.

Cosesy does not produce sensors or other hardware, but we have developed a high

technology series of blueprints for customers who prefer to produce their own door

sensor, PIR motion sensor or hub.

Each local installation (Shops, residential apartments or other locations will need an internet hub with our Cosesy Cloud P2P technology.

The hub works as a bridge between the local sensors and the Cloud.

The setup of the hub works “Plug and Play”. No further router setup is required.

You may choose any IP hub you like.In case you select your own hub, we will need to modify the firmware to operate securely with Cosesy Cloud.

Another option would be to use our blueprints and have the Cosesy Hub produced by any manufacturer of your choice.
