Beauty begins with soft, glowing skin. If you like helpingpeople feel positive about their appearance, being anesthetician or facial specialist could be your new profession!

In the Facials Specialty program at Palm Beach State, you’ll learn avariety of facial techniques, as well as waxing, microdermabrasion, glycolicpeels, lash tinting and makeup application. Students are trained in a fully-equipped salon through a combination of lectures and hands-onpractice—taught and guided by licensed professionals.

Full-time students (day classes) complete the programin three months, and part-time students (evening

classes) finish in six months.

The skin care industry is growing rapidly aswomen and men of all ages desire healthier,better-looking skin. Estheticians and other skincare specialists enjoy a wide range of careeroptions—from full-service salons and spas to

doctors’ offices, particularly for dermatologistsand plastic surgeons.

Students of Palm Beach State’s NailsTechnician program develop marketable skillsin a modern salon/spa environment, featuringcurrent products and equipment. Our instructors—all licensed professionals—use a combinationof lecture and hands-on training to teach thelatest nail techniques. You’ll learn and practicemanicures, pedicures and applying various typesof artificial nails and nail wraps. Of course, theCollege adheres to and trains students in thehighest standards of safety and sanitation.

Upon receipt of your license,you are eligible to work inFlorida salons/spas.
