To establish a transport demonstration ecosystem for
Costa Rica, based on hydrogen generated from carbon-
free renewable energy and to measure its financial
sustainability, business potential and its relevance to
Costa Rica and the region.

● Address Costa Rica's biggest energy challenge: transportation.
● Promote the hydrogen economy in Costa Rica.
● Take advantage of the wealth of renewable energy in the region for the electrification of
transportation.
● Demonstrate the technical feasibility of the integration of renewable energy and the production of
hydrogen for transportation.
● Obtain information on the implementation of the project that is valuable and useful for a greater
insertion of this technology to our country.
● Make Costa Rica the first country in Central America to implement hydrogen for transportation.
